Doodles in the direct aftermath of finishing the comics.
I was told the context of Jeremy and Mike's relationship so I drew Mike getting beat up.
Thank you for the explanation and the AU @firebugfrenzical, @hauntinglyghostie, and @denimscotch
I finally read the last marble hornets comic. Expect art.
I am an entomologist and this is my Eridian.
Notes below
I really like the idea of a shell made from dead cells and the analogy with trees (especially since, technically, there are no trees on Eridian.)
Personally, I was thinking more along the lines of how bones work.
(Living) cells that produce an inorganic coating. In humans, this is calcium-based, but in Eridians it could be something else.
As the producing cells are protected, they can produce continuously to compensate for natural erosion.
This would make a lot of sense too! Haha I have a very limited understanding of vertebrate bones and was completely focused on mollusk and tree models that I didn't think about it... oops.
I keep thinking of rocky as a kind of advanced coral (giant colony of organisms that make a hard shell). is anyone on this page
Yes!! Weir repeatedly calls Eridians "a beehive if it was one animal". So they definitely feel like super organisms like corals!

Eridians functionally have exoskeletons. The only two ways I can imagine they grow is either the ecdysis route (molting) or something like secondary growth in plants. I am leaning towards 2nd growth, the only reason I say molting at all is because of their feeding style... and the obvious spider simmarities. All this to say that either way, Eridian children are likely kind of squishy.
I would love to draw all of the Weir protagonists hanging out but I seriously have no idea how to draw any type of EVA suit.
Project Hail Mary got a movie :)
My last post was originally made in 2023. I have since lost all of my files for my marble hornets fanart. The only remaining copy was in the drafts of this account... woops
In the darkness of your dreams, which face begs for mercy?
Whose eyes stare back when your own close?
Can you hold our gaze?
How cute...
I love the style of this manga.
Jeremy may be my favorite...
From my dear @firebugfrenzical 's damned by design au.
I really like these guys.
Lovely fnaf au by @firebugfrenzical .
Damned by design is a lovely au. Thank you, @firebugfrenzical .
Insect Aventurine AU inspired by a Ratiorine fic (18+). I love hypothetical biology.
