so my employer ran a couple of busses to washington for the women’s march, and I was one of maybe 10 staff who went down with about 85 students

and my work crush was on the same bus as me (I found out she was going like the night before when the trip organizer sent an email asking us and the other staff to quasi-chaperone)

and I was gonna try to hang out with her and like get to know each other better during the day, but she brought her mom and also the group kind of fell apart before the march even began, so I didn’t really have the opportunity, even though we did talk a bit on the bus and on the walk to and from the bus

but today I finally got over my anxiety and stopped by her office (same building different department) which I’ve been meaning to do for like weeks?

and we talked for like an hour instead of doing work oops

but we traded phone numbers and we might be going on a date on monday????
