Welcome to my Indie rp blog for Skuld from Kingdom Hearts Union X. I've been working on her for a few years now and am happy with the way I'm writing her. Skuld had been getting ready to head out for the day when some of the other keyblade wielders had stopped her. A few of them having been old party members of her’s so she was more than happy to be able to talk to them again. And she had to admit that doing so made her miss the old times where she went off on missions with them all the time. However at the same time she knew she was a lot stronger now. She had been able to improve so much since the time of her party.

For today she had been paired with someone new. A wielder from another union and she had to admit that she was a bit excited to see what her partner for the day could do. So needless to say that when she heard footsteps slowly approach followed by a bit of a stammering voice, a gentle smile appeared on her lips as she turned to face the other. Her smile softening more upon seeing the brunette in front of her now. “Yep. That would be me.” Skuld answered in a gentle tone being able to see the other was nervous. She then looked at the mission report. “Ah I see. You are my partner for today. It’s nice to meet you.”

✿*ﾟ‘ﾟ･  “Ah– yes!” Strelitzia smiled, happy to be accepted by the other wielder without apprehension. Skuld appeared nice enough, her eyes filled with warmth when she was greeted. It helped ease her own nerves, her shy discomfort melting away in conjunction with that softened smile.  It didn’t last long though. The other wielders surrounding her future partner stared back at Strelitzia, and she could feel herself tensing up under their scrutinizing gaze. Whether they were judging her or expecting an introduction, she didn’t know, and she found herself looking down at her feet instead. She had never been good at talking with people outside her own family, Elrena, and of course, Chirithy. ‘Go on. It’s ok.’  Chirithy whispered, their small paws clinging to her leg, adding some support to give her the drive to buck up and introduce herself to Skuld and her small pack of friends. If they were even considered her friends, that is. She hesitated for a moment, taking in a breath and holding it as she gathered up some courage. Then she let it out with a soft breath. “My name is Strelitzia, by the way.” Her smile widened, “It’s nice to meet you too, Skuld! I know you and I will be able to get along great today!”

Skuld couldn't help but smirk upon hearing the response from the other. She had a feeling that the two of them were definitely going to get along without any issues and that was something that had her excited since she didn't really have many friends to date.

She could feel the others around her staring at Strelitzia and let out a sigh before look over her shoulder and telling them all to head off for the day. And while she saw them hesitate for a moment before she looked forward again she eventually knew that they would all leave. She then watched as the other's Chirithy seemed to reassure her which cause the raven to smile a bit more.

"Nice to meet ya Strelitzia. And I think you are right about that. I have a feeling that you and me are going to get along just fine."

“Of course. Just lead the way.” Skuld said agreeing to walk with her friend.

She could tell that something was off. Well off more than normal when it came to Luxu. She had come to know him the most out of the Master of Masters apprentices. Having become close to him just like she was with Invi and Ava. However at the same time she was grateful for the friendship that she had with the other since it was a unique one but interesting as well.

“I’ve been doing okay. Been catching up with my brother and been working on some of my magic when I’m not out on missions. Have been trying to take it easy lately due to just getting over a cold that I had.” She admitted.

There had been a time when Luxu felt far too young for what was expected of him as one of the Master of Masters’ apprentices. Too confused by the world and how it worked. But now as he walked beside Skuld, knowing what he knew, and knowing he was potentially about to share that burden with her, suddenly Luxu felt far too old. And it was just going to get worse. Luxu listened as Skuld talked about all the little things in her life, things that she was no doubt about to loose one way or another. “I’ve been away for a while.” He said, “I can’t tell you where I’ve been though, not unless…”

No, he was not going to bring it up yet. He wanted stall a little longer, allow them a few precious moments to just be two friends on a stroll. “It’s a secret mission that Master sent me on.” He explained. “Even Ava and the others never knew.”

"A secret mission that the Master of Masters sent you on? And it's something that Ava and Invi don't know about?" Skuld asked with a raised eyebrow as she looked over at Luxu.

She had to admit that she was a bit surprised by what Luxu had just told her but at the same time in a way it made sense as well. She knew that each of the Master of Masters apprentices were given different roles and had different things that they had to do. So while surprised at what she was told at the same time she understood. Although it did leave her curious on what type of secret mission that Luxu had been sent on. Especially if it's one that no one else knows about.

The day had already been something that Skuld had not expected. Her last trip to take on Heartless had exhausted her. Especially after those who she had went with left her behind as more Heartless showed up. It was something that made her upset cause she could have gotten severely injured. Luckily some of the warriors of the world had seen what was going on and assisted her and even helped to help her injuries. Hence the only reason why she made it back when she did.

She was walking through the streets of Daybreak heading back home to shower, tend to her wounds again, and then rest. She had been in thought when she heard the sound of a voice she was all too familiar with which caused her to stop in her tracks and turn to look at him. “Luxu. It’s good to see you again.”

As much as he wanted to walk up and greet Skuld properly, Luxu hung back awkwardly as he tried to decide how he was going to make his proposal to her. It was too big of a deal to just casually ask her to be his apprentice, and certainly the circumstances of why he needed one were too extraordinary to bring up without any sort of tact.

“It’s been a long time, and there’s a lot I need to tell you.” He said, “Walk with me?” By now the Dandelions should have figured out a little bit of what was going on in Daybreak Town now, but Luxu was not entirely sure exactly how much. Brain for sure new more about it than the others, whether or not he had chosen to share that information yet, Luxu did not know yet. “How have you been?” Luxu asked, partially to pry, but there was an amount of genuine concern for Skuld’s well being.

There she was again. The girl from the union outside her own. Long ebony hair and eyes like the chocolates sold at the bakery in town. Everyone talked about how strong she was. How capable she was. How she stood up for those that needed protection or were too weak to hold their own. She was like a lioness protecting her pride, and Strelitzia couldn't deny the overwhelming admiration she felt whenever she watched her fight.

But why she was approaching the spitfire girl wasn't because she wanted to sit back and watch her banter and interact with the other keyblade wielders in the town square. No, she was here because she had to be.

She clutched the summoning letter tight in her grip, her name attached to Skuld's on the mission report. They were to collect Lux for the day. Together. It was meant to be a bonding experience, a way to bring two people from different unions together to strengthen the bond amongst wielders, but Strelitzia didn't know where to begin. She faltered, not sure how to approach Skuld. She was never good at approaching others and striking up conversations. It was why she found herself alone most of the time, aside from the moments she spent with her brother or Elrena, and of course, her Chirithy who was always at her side. They were experts at getting her out of her shell, but they weren't here. Only Chirithy who encouraged her to introduce herself.

"I--I..." She gulped, the lump in her throat too sizable that she worried she would stop breathing. Her knees were shaking, her shoulders tense. If she wasn't careful, the paper in her hands would grow damp from how sweaty her palms had become. If it hadn't been for Chirithy ramming its large plush head into the back of her calves, she might have never had the strength to step forward.

"S-Skuld, right?" She stammered, and then floundered to smooth out the wrinkled paper in her hands and show her the mission report. "Ah, we've been, uhm, summoned to work together. Uhm--"

There was no justification behind Luxu’s decision to pick Skuld over the other Dandelion leaders. He was playing favorites, simple as that. Brain would have made an excellent apprentice to pass No Name to, as would Ephemere or even Lauriam. But,as closely as he had watched them, Luxu did not know them the way he knew Skuld.

It had to be her.

Luxu waited until Skuld was alone before he approached, no sense in revealing himself to anyone but his chosen apprentice. That was, of course, if she even accepted the offer he was about to give her.

“Skuld.” He announced his presence, trying not to startle her too much.

It had been awhile since she had been to Twilight Town since her last trip had been with Isa and Lea to visit Roxas and Xion. This time however she was visiting the world on her own in a hopes to try and find some new supplies for missions and to also find some new clothes as well. She had heard that Twilight Town was the best world to do that so she was hoping to see the truth behind it. As she walked through the streets of Twilight Town she couldn't help but hum slight as she looked at all of the different stores on top of all the different restraunts as well. It made her wonder if she was going to be able to get her shopping done in a single day.

“I..I see. Thank you. Honestly it’s the first time that I have been called that since being free to travel the different worlds.” She admitted as she smiled at him. She was grateful to know that he was confident about what he was calling her and it did indeed make her happy since it was the first time she had been called pretty. “Your welcome. And that’s a good thing to aim for when it comes to wanting to make others happy with your music. And I’m sure they are just showing their gratitude how they can.” She stated before watching him bow with his violin. A small laugh leaving her lips upon hearing his next words. “That you did. Especially after I had been in such deep thought.”

He chuckled a little and started putting his violin away. “Oh? Did I help at all with the deep thought? Or did I at least maybe alleviate some stress it was causing you?” He looked up at her again. She was a charming girl he was surprised she wasn’t used to flattery. Other men or women must be blind because she’d grown into a lovely woman indeed.

Taking a seat there on the fountain after he was finished he left the spot next to him open if she wanted to occupy it and continue their conversation.

"You did help with the stress to be completely honest. But as for what is on my mind when I was deep in thought it is hard to explain." She admitted as she continued to watch him. It was very hard for her to explain what was on her mind. Especially with everything that she had been through over the course of 10 years and perhaps even longer than that in the parts of her memories that she can't recall still. She hesitated for a moment before moving to sit down next to him on the fountain. Watching him for a moment out of the corner of her eye before speaking once again. "I'm surprised I haven't come across you during my other trips here."
