My altar where I sat this morning. And just sat and sat and the answers came. I believe we all hav the innate wisdom to help ourselves. You don’t need to Google it, just sit with it and be open. I promise you, you have the answers. Meditation is something I do for my mental and physical health. It helps with my stress, and it gives me invaluable insight around my life and its journey or path. I’ve found a direct correlation between my stress level and how many hot flashes I experience. I’m also prone to breaking out in hives — also stress related. I eschew Rx and always go for the natural alternative. Loving this gray mare today. Yesterday she carried me over 2 passes in the Marin Headlands without a single misstep. She picked her way around tricky single track, walked over rickety bridges and down stairs. When I was little and had my Breyer horse collection (aka the gateway drug), my favorite was the Shire. I got to play with Ian, the gentle giant, at work today. He’s about 18 hands and unbelievably light to handle — and I might add patient as I tried to snap a selfie with us.
