Goodbye Teen Wolf! (2011 - 2017)
The moment that broke all of our hearts…
Quick Stiles Imagine
This imagine is an attempt at picturing what it would be like if Stiles stepped away from the supernatural drama and allowed himself to just be human with another human for a while. Y/N was definitely in the right place at the right time.

You slam your biology book closed and rest your head in your hands. You’ve been sitting in this classroom since school ended, and it’s a solid 7pm right now. You imagine curling up in your desk chair at home…but it’s difficult to study at home, because you’re easily distracted by the boy next door. Not that you like, hang out or anything. But you can see the lights in his house from your desk at your bedroom window, and you can’t help but find yourself searching for signs of movement behind his bedroom curtains whenever you try to be productive in your own room. You’re not sure when your fascination with him began, but it’s been as long as you can remember. Whenever you see him enter or exit his house, your heartbeat doubles in time. You’re just curious about his life. It’s honestly so creepy and you know it is, which is why you’ve made it a habit to finish your homework at school before heading home. The teacher of your last class caught up on this, and has begun locking the door from the inside before leaving to ensure no one disturbs you. It’s super ideal, because nobody can get in, but you can leave whenever you wa- Your head snaps up as the handle is violently turned and twisted. It quickly stills. After staring at the door a moment, wondering if you were imagining things, a frantic pounding comes at the door. This time you immediately slide your chair back and start across the room. As you turn the handle and gently push the door open, your breath catches in your throat. Of course it’s him. You feel your heartbeat begin its double time swing. Of course it’s Stiles. His dark eyebrows pop up and his mouth opens into a goofy smile when he sees you. “Hey neighbor!” He doesn’t hesitate to let himself in, close the door behind him and inspect the lock. “This thing is locked, right?” When you don’t answer right away, he looks up at you from his hunched position in front of the door. He’s like, really sweaty. His hair is sticking to his forehead and falling into his eyes. He’s wearing his lacrosse sweats and a nicely fitted long-sleeved shirt. He must’ve been working out just now, his arms look really good… You blink as he straightens and you know he just asked you a question but it’s hard to focus because he’s like, right here and his hair is so so black. He searches your eyes and the corner of his mouth turns up a bit before he looks at the ground and brushes the dripping hair off his forehead. “I guess I must be a sight to see right now…and here I am, bursting in on you all demanding and rude.” He huffs a sigh and looks back up at you. His eyes are calmer, and genuine. “You’ve got your own stuff goin’ on, I know, there’s a bio test coming up and that’s big. Sometimes I forget…school’s a thing.” “It’s locked,” you manage. Your voice is even enough that you sound normal, but you’ve never felt more flustered in your life. “Good,” he says, and brushes past you. By the time you turn around he’s already seated in the desk next to your biology book and notes. “Mind if I hang out a while? I won’t be a huge distraction, I swear.” Oh, he has no idea how big of a distraction he is on a nightly basis. “Sure,” you say, returning to your seat. You slide into the desk and glance over at him as he pokes around at your notes. He’s so close you can feel the heat of his body and smell his deodorant. His eyes pop up to meet yours. You don’t break the eye contact, against nearly every frantic instinct in your body. “Why did you want the door to be locked?” “I was being chased by monsters,” he says without hesitation. “Okay,” you say sarcastically, turning your attention to finding the correct page in your biology book. He laughs quietly. “Or maybe I just wanted to be alone with you.” “You had no idea I was in here.” You keep turning pages, afraid to look at him and melt into the floor. You know he’s kidding, but it’s still making your heart beat like crazy. “True. But that doesn’t mean what I said can’t be true, too.” You risk a glance in his direction and he’s staring at you with no shame. Not an awkward eye contact stare, but a stare where he’s just, like. Taking you in. His eyes wander around your face, your hair, your neck and shoulders, and back up to your face. It was all in the span of a few seconds, but it almost made you legit shiver. He almost made you tremble with a freaking look. “Is that so?” You manage. “Yeah. Like, we’ve been neighbors for what, ever? And we’ve hardly ever talked. We’ve definitely never been alone like this. It’s cool, right? You’re fine with me being here?” “Yeah, of course!” You probably said that a little too eagerly. But him leaving was the last thing you wanted. “I agree, by the way. I’ve wanted to talk to you, you just seem so busy all the time. I would feel like I would be interrupting something important.” “Dude, interrupt me anytime. Like, the stuff I seem busy with is nothing compared to…this.” He gestures to your bio notes, looking exasperated. “Are you ready for the test?” You ask. “Oh, I’m not in biology.” “But you said…” You furrow your brows and look at him. “How’d you know the test is coming up?” He smiles and half laughs, stretching his arms above his head. “I see you lugging that book around with you everywhere. And you don’t get home from studying until super late all week? Y/N’s got a test. And it is soon.” You were already struggling to believe the fact that he knows you exist, and now you have to deal with him saying your name out loud AND admitting that he pays attention to your study habits. Your heart can hardly take it. “Dang, someone’s observant.” “What can I say? I’m intrigued.” You feel the slightest touch on your pinky finger. You look down and see his pinky lightly brushing the side of yours. You draw in a slow breath as all your awareness focuses in on that one finger. You don’t dare look him in the face. You move your pinky slightly, pressing it against the side of his. He lifts his and places it over yours, curling it around your knuckle. He wraps more fingers around your pinky and tugs your hand closer playfully. You hold back your grin as you lace your fingers between his. Your heart is pounding so hard, he can probably feel it through your hand. You can’t take it anymore and look up at his face. He’s watching your hands thoughtfully, just as you had been. There’s a small smile on his face as he lifts his gaze to meet yours. He does that searching stare thing again, his eyes moving across your forehead and hair, around your cheeks, down to hesitate at your lips, and quickly back up to your eyes. The smile is gone and you both seem to realize how close you are and how locked the door is. The hand that isn’t holding yours reaches up to rest on your neck. He strokes your cheek with his thumb, and quickly leans his face close to yours. You squeeze your eyes shut as your mouths collide and your world explodes while simultaneously being put together like a finished puzzle. You push yourself closer to him, so your chests are pressing up against each other. He hums in response, and his fingers curl into your back. The kissing is desperate, hungry, and hot. You let your hands wander down to his biceps, then to his obliques. He pulls his head away and looks at you with his deep brown eyes before the corner of his mouth tilts up and he moves over to your neck. You gasp involuntarily as he gently bites the base of your neck and makes his way up to your ear, leaving little nibbles along the way. He kisses behind your ear and you sigh, relaxing into him. He rests his head on your shoulder and you do the same on his shoulder. You’re both breathing pretty heavily. What the hell? What the hell just happened? That happened? His fingers curl around yours and he leans back to look at you again. He smiles and runs his hand through your hair. “Well, now I’m more intrigued than ever,” he says in a rough, satisfied mumble. “Let’s get to know each other more often,” you suggest, still a little breathless. His smiles a wicked grin and leans in to take you up on your offer.

- Wolves and foxes tend not to get along. Not just in fables and stories.
- But allies, however unlikely, should be welcomed. Especially in times of war.
