joe could not believe how swimmingly smooth that had gone. for once something had gone exactly to plan, for once something had worked and it could not have come with better timing. just when he needed it. evelyn evernever may actually be his miracle, he just hoped that once this was all over he would have a chance to thank her properly but time would tell. her ridiculous ex/current husband would also have a major impact on how this oplayed out for dear evelyn. joe acted as he normally would on any other day, heading to get his usual take out for two – something he had been ordering for a while now so it wouldn’t throw shades of suspicion at him when he suddenly ordered for two out of the blue. “evelyn? good, your up. we have a lot to discuss.” nodding his head at her as the door to the secret room sealed tight behind them, yes, the air was breathable – he wasn’t quite reaching that level of dramatic but this room? completely soundproof. “how are you feeling? the drugs can make you groggy so you are going to need to sit down and take it easy. alright?” moving towards the box with an uneasy smile on his face. “hungry?” holding up the bag of food to the glass of the box.

TEARS HAD BEEN STREAMING DOWN her face a l l night long, at least that’s what it felt like. was it really an hour since she woke up, crying and terrified. whole body was shaking uncontrollably, and for some reason, she wasn’t even cold. when he came, evelyn pressed her cheek against the clear glass box, eyes were wide and still unbelievably red.  where was edgar when she TRULY NEEDED HIM. as if he’d even help her after ending up palling around with an actual psycho.

He furrowed his brows. She was right, Lisa probably didn’t remember who he is and it was his fault it happened that way and it happened and was supposed to stay that way for a reason. Lisa deserved better than what he could ever offer her. Hell, he is the reason she fell victim to the demon in the first place. He managed to put her and Ben in danger while trying NOT to put her and Ben in danger. He single-handedly ruined their life and her and her son deserved to move on and live a normal one and a normal one is one without him in it. Maybe it was better after he saved her from the demon, he leave well enough alone. She is going to continue to be a target as long as he was around, it is why he made the decision he did in the first place and it all took him back to that day in the hospital, grasping onto every last memory he could grasp onto before making that fateful decision. He never wanted to hurt her and he never wanted to hurt Ben. He really resented that after all these years, Lisa was still such a weakness to him.

He wiped a quick tear from his eye at the thought of her not remembering him and straightened himself up to face the demon bitch again, offering her a smug smirk with a nonchalant shrug of his shoulders, “Sorry, bitch, I am out of the business of making deals with demons,” but that didn’t stop him from being curious, “You don’t want my soul? What’s in it for you then?” He questioned, quirking his eyebrow curiously, “I’d think you demon dickbags want me back in hell with your sorry asses. In this deal, are you going to let her go?” How stupid could he be? He knew better than this especially after dealing with Crowley for so many years, always finding a way to make a deal without actually making you believe he was making one or somehow always managed to make it seem he was benefitting you when it was really himself, “I am listening, listening does NOT mean agreement I just want to hear what could possibly be in it for you.”

WHAT WAS AMAZING FOR THE DEMON was watching the famous dean winchester fall apart. as much as she wanted to see him getting his limbs ripped off deep in hell; being exorcised by him was not only embarrassing but it would be the end of her. rumors always crossed from every side of hell that the brothers ALWAYS MADE DEALS. especially with their little puppet, crowley, not that she had any problems with the king of hell himself. wherever he may be at this very moment. if crowley could make deals, she could as well. 

“i won’t give you my name, dean.” words fell from lisa’s lips as she spoke, sounding smooth like butter. “though---- if we meet again, you’ll know who i am because i will remind you.” an eyebrow arched as she looked into his eyes, smiling with lisa’s lips. for some reason this gave her so much joy, watching dean suffer and use lisa as a device to keep herself safe. what could she say ?? being selfish was her s t y l e. “we’re all the same, dean, trying to save our skins--- in all our demon dickbaggery.” chuckling in a soft, smooth voice. “none of us want to face the winchester’s--- i am no exception. i’ll give you LISA’S BODY if you promise never to exercise me if we do MEET AGAIN ??”

Serena had warned him that both Blair and Dan were around, something about a hospital visit the last time he’d been around to visit with her. “Long time, no see.” He commented in a sort of greeting, he even smiled like he had actually been glad to see him. NATE HAD ALWAYS BEEN A GIFTED LIAR, that much remained true as he stuck his hands in his pockets. “What brought you out this way, man?”

DAN UNDERSTOOD THE FACT EVERYONE HATED HIM, he got it - he didn’t relish in it like s o m e would. the question was, why did he have to deal with everyone trying to come out of the woodworks ?? dan humphrey had come here to get away from those who were affiliated with the upper east side, to be with his former enemy. perhaps that was a BAD IDEA because he couldn’t be happy. damn the universe, he could NEVER be with anyone without speculation. if he was with serena, heartbreak. if he was with blair, everyone despised him. was everyone so desperate for him to be alone and miserable ?? maybe that’s what he deserved. 

“hmmm,” looking at nate with questioning eyes, “to get away.” turning to look at nate with a hard expression. “clearly, i picked the WRONG STATE, huh ??” he wasn’t going to tiptoe around this bullshit, not anymore. he was going to answer the universe with an annoyed voice and let the misery take him. “i don’t want to argue or fight with you, nate--- so why don’t we cut to the chase. you don’t like me, it’s clear -- it’s been clear since day one.” arms crossing over his chest, “why don’t you have at it then ?? i’m not getting out of this nor are we going to be BEST BUDS--- backpacking through europe together--- so please, humor me.”

IT HAD BEEN A WHILE SINCE SHE THOUGHT ABOUT BEACON HILLS. The memory was faint, the various stores that she once frequented; the school that she had both studied in and battled inside. The same town that she would lose many, including herself, and now — it felt more like a dream than a place she’d ever known. The memories she had battled against the fake ones she had constantly. Leaving her unsure of most everything about herself and, quite honestly, it was a bit of a nightmare.

Yet, somehow, the hunter knew as soon as she saw LYDIA MARTIN that the redhead had been a friend to her. Someone that she relied on; a steadfast friendship formed early on in her time in the last town she lived in. It just took her a few moments to decide if she should just approach her or if she should leave her be.

“Lydia ?” She greeted her, a glance her way. Allison hadn’t moved too close, aware that she could just be wrong again. It wouldn’t be the first time.

NO. SURELY THE REDHEAD WAS SEEING THINGS ?? when her eyes set on the brunette, she froze, wanting to laugh or cry. no, she wanted to scream because of how painful it w a s to watch as her friend left this world. allison left the world kicking ass the way she deserved to. yet, nothing ever felt the same without her. how the world grew a little darker that day the universe took her BEST FRIEND. 

“allison ??” lydia cupped her hands over her mouth, “h o w ??” words were a mere whisper into her hands. feet were moving, she hardly noticed, all of this was autopilot. 

“how are you back ??” moving her hands away from her mouth, piercing orbs wide with wonder. “i don’t understand...” heartfelt as heavy as that dark, dreadful moment. if she seemed ungrateful, she wasn’t, she was just hoping she wasn’t a ghost or a memory. not wanting this to end.

she had been discharged from the hospital , her thumb scrolled through the contacts in her phone – she was about to call nate until her eyes gravitated upward. she slipped her phone into her purse and walked over to dan humphrey with an inquisitive look in her eyes.  ❝  dan , why are you here ? ❞ she asked as her slender fingers ran through her golden threads once.  ❝  does blair know ? ❞ of course , she assumed that blair knew everything , which made his visits even more perplexing while she never received one from blair herself. 

HE HADN’T COME TO TALK ABOUT serena & blair’s drama with each other. if there were t w o humans at each other’s throats more than anyone - it was those two. where was gossip girl to wake them from their complete PETTINESS. brows sat heavy on his forehead, tenseness danced through every muscle in his back. “serena--- i’m not here to be a harry potter owl between you or b l a i r !!” as much as he adored both females, he was not going to get between them, nor was he about to spill every single secret about both to each of them. 

“pick up your phone and call blair---- ask her why she’s being selfish, and maybe we can talk about it. i just--- i’m not going to be in the middle of this.” why did he feel like cedric all of a sudden, a ragdoll for everyone to THROW AROUND. “i’m sorry this happened --- i’m sorry blair isn’t here --- but those who care and matter have been.” should the blonde take this as a sign ?? some things were meant to be broken forever ?? meaning the friendship between the queens that were serena & blair ?? really, it did pose a question in his mind. “do you really want to be friends with her anymore ?? is this a last straw ??”

“WAIT----- you can’t just l e a v e without buying anything !!” holding up a hand with a sad pout on her face, eyes watching as the other walked out of the boutique. personally, alice was bored alone in her beautiful shop. amber orbs landed on her hands, waiting for someone, anyone to step inside. slight tingling of the bells on the door woke her from her chance. 

“hello !! welcome !! if you need anything-- i’m here !!” jumping to her feet with a jubilant smile and a laugh escaping her throat. “you have SAVED MY LIFE !!”
