Stained glass window of Project Hail Mary. Love this movie to death. Watched it 10 times while making this😅🚀
Ouuuh I wanna stitch this so bad
Border collie cross stitched on plastic canvas.
Hello lovelies!! It's been a while :)
I do come with progress though! I've been thinking about doing monthly updates so that I have an actual schedule instead of posting every few months. But school decided to kick my butt so I figured I'd do my Jan and Feb updates together :)
Jan - started approximately with 22,000 stitches and stitched 1,603 to end with 23,603
Feb - started with 23,603 and stitched 1,054 to end with 24,657 - 9.86%
Also now that our first dragon is pretty much done, I decided to do a little different method than what I've been doing. So I'm trying to finish all the way across the top of the fabric and then I'll come back to where the horn and the top connect and maybe do a bit of color flow or something else. Not sure yet. Anyways. Have a lovely day/night!
I kinda went absolutely crazy today..
Yes you read that right. 1,042 stitches. Today. 24 hours.
Also I had wanted to post this earlier but I forgot, I was working with the royal rows method and finished around 750 stitches of the sky and stormfly's horn
I'm very happy with all the progress I'm making and all the support from those of you who like and rebolg. I hope you'll stick around <3<3<3
Guess what party people!!
FINISHED MOUTH!!!!
I am soooo proud and feel very accomplished with this. I have been working whenever I had the chance, trying to finish the mouth by Monday and I did it!!!
OH MY GOD??????? THATS AMAZING????
THANK YOU!!!! :D

WOOO SO MUCH MOUTH!!!
And 500 stitches in one day plus 45 more after midnight. I feel really good about the progress I'm making and hitting 500 in one day feels like a big accomplishment
Progress!!! I had to frog around 200 stitches a few weekends ago and it was really disheartening and I've not gotten the courage back to re-stitch them but I've done a lot of the face work and I really like how it's been looking!
Okay woaaah, long time since last post but I live and have lots of progress to show for it!!
Also almost 500 stitches today which is super cool and I think the most I've stitched in one day. Also I did do another 50 stitches after midnight so in my mind, I made it.
I do love posting about my crafts but I am also a college student whose midterms are kicking absolute ass right now and I live with a kitten that is a complete and utter menace and WILL sit on my cross stich as I am actively stitching
136 stitches in an hour and a half :) filling in lots of spaces
She looks a little freaky right now but it'll look better when her mouth gets filled in
Also was watching a 10 hour stitching marathon while doing it so i think it definitely encouraged me to keep stitching
Haven't stitched this much in a while. Very proud of it. Haven't taken a progress picture yet, will probably show it off tomorrow or later this week
So we are chugging along, slowly every night, and now we are at 3.33%! I don't have any super recent pictures, but I do have the ones from when I spilled grape soda onto it over the weekend.
Enjoy
In case anyone was curious how big the 20 or so inches is. I was very relieved to have the soda come out after soaking for a long while - probably around an hour
Not saying I forgot about this account but....I'm at 8,005 stitches and 3.20% now :)
And I've only had motivation to work on it in the middle of the night until my eyes literally start closing forcefully
Anyways here's recent project pictures
Vacation is over and here's my progress. Was hoping to get more done on the road trip but it's still progress!!!
I feel like it's been forever since I updated, but it's only been a week or so. Time change is killing me, and so are family plans, but I am stitching! 🫡
I managed to get 213 stitches done in one day :)
I have GOT to stop stitching while tired 😭 I spent almost 30 minutes looking at this, trying to see where I went wrong because one stitch wasn't lining up even though (mostly) everything around it was correct.
I stitched some of the black one over from where it should have been. It throws a bit more off than I'd like, but at least I won't have to frog the whole eye!
It also doesn't make me feel any better that I have worked on this more than once since stitching the pupil and stared at the pattern and *STILL* missed it 😭
