âWe have a Blue Moon next month, you know what that means~?âÂ
âDrinking party!!âÂ
stoppedtimewitch started following you
âKoniichiwa, Yuuko-san!â Greeted the Card Mistress cheerily before bowing politely towards the raven-haired woman with a gentle smile. âOgenki desu ka ne? I do hope all has been well with you?â
â -- Koniichiwa, Sakura-chan,â Yuuko answered, bowing her head slightly, simply to be polite to the young magical girl. The witch brushed some of her hair behind her back and offered the other a smile. âI have been. I was just on my way to the store for some much needed supplies. And you? Have you been well?âÂ
((I fond a league of legends tumblr theme. Do I... Do I make all my blogs this? ))Â
Waaaaatanuki, go out and get me some sake. I'm all out.

âObviously I havenât had enough if Iâm asking for more. Now all this time spent talking about this could be used for getting the necessary liquid. Off you go Wata-kun~, every moment is precious. Otherwise I might sober up. And a true tragedy that would be.âÂ

break my muse in 15 words or less.
For them this was how it was⊠how it had always been. They were always on the precipice of getting what they could only speak in body language would allow before one of them would pull away. Be it from emotions or just feeling it wasnât right. Clow wasnât going to press forward and he wouldnât peruse it. He had justâŠgot here. He was happy with that and if he could, he would live by just having the ability to just stay within the confines of the shop near the Witch.
Walking behind the other he noted that there werenât too many changes to the shop overall. Aside from the overwhelming smell of opium from within the shop; the magician couldnât guess what the contents would have been. Oh well⊠tea outside would be nice. It was going to be a cool night and just being able to talk and relax after the stress of world traveling was enough to please the elder magician. With the other ask him to take a seat, Clow nodded and began to sit down. Then she went inside to possibly talk with the âlittle helpersâ.
His mind wandered quietly while he waited. The events that played out seemed to go just as needed but there was still that overwhelming sense of guilt upon his shoulders. He wondered the âtravelersâ were doing well. They must be, they are together surely.
It almost seemed too peaceful for him to believe that everything had nearly ended. It was almost as if-
His thoughts broke when he heard two excited voices getting louder coming from the two dolls that were excitedly bounding over to him. Turning to look at them, Clow began to greet Maru and Moro fondly. They looked just as he remembered them to when he left; he could only assume that Mokona would look the same as well.
âHello young ones,â he chuckled and felt them grabbing at his arms and around his shoulders excitedly hugging onto him after the tray had been set down safely. With the excitement from the girls he wondered for a moment just how safe it would stay. Looking between the girls he began to give his attention to both of them, doting on them as a father would to the children he had not seen in a long time. Slowly his eyes gravitated back upwards towards the witch and he offered a smile to her as well.
As the two girls talked excitedly and pried for the attention of the magician, Clow could only smile. Maybe things would be alright in the end after all. It didnât seem like time had touched this place at all by the looks of it.
Things felt right⊠like something in the back of his mind had clicked and he was settling back into place. If he was lucky then this need to stay would only grow the longer he was within the company of his âfamilyâ. Â
â -- She did not match or offer a smile back when he gave her one. His attention was soon overwhelmed by the dolls again and that was fine. She was happy to see them so happy so long as that happiness remained and was not snatched away... At any moment things could be swapped away, so long as this man was involved.Â
Whatever there was so long ago had long since left. She loved this man, of course she did that had never stopped but it was quite different from the love that had existed when he held her dying hand. And truthfully, she didnât know if it would ever return or ever be the way it was again. The past was the past for the reason, it would do no good to try and return to those days. You learned from the past and grow from it, she had no desire to revert.Â
She carefully poured the tea for the both of them, now that it had settled a bit. âMaru, Moro.â She gently spoke, earning the attention of the two girls who were just about shining with happiness. âThere will be time to speak with Clow a little later. Right now, there are things that must be spoken of. When Watanuki returns home be sure to help him. Until then...â She offered the girls a small gesture, telling them to head back inside.Â
âYes mistress,â they said in unison, giving Clow a parting glance before departing from the backyard.Â
âThere will be time to catch up with everyone. Meet Watanuki and see Mokona again. They miss you more than anyone in this house, I imagine. Theyâre sensitive little things, and great drinking partners~â she laughed softly and picked up her cup to take a small sip. âAnd of course there are the guardians... I have not met them or spoken with them since youâve... youâve been gone. But I am certain they are well. Sakura-chan would do nothing but take excellent care of them. I think speaking with them would...â she paused for a moment pondering just how to phrase her words without causing offence. âWell, you know how Yue is.â Sheâd leave it at that.Â
All this talk but she was straying from the main subject of it all. The Why. Important and obvious and it was hanging over their heads yet she didnât just ask it. Mostly because she didnât think sheâd get a satisfying answer or one that would make up for everything.
And there was no way for her to explain the suffering that sheâd been through at his departure from this world. Not just departing... but departing without a word. Tearing his soul in two and creating two different identities. All of this done without a word to her and leaving her with this undesirable mess. Yes, good did come from it. She got to spend time with Watanuki, the only child sheâd ever manage to have. And there were delightful memories and many good times but there was also a great deal of pan and suffering, on all those poor childrenâs ends. She wasnât sure if she had the strength to hear any excuses or reasonings for it. She didnât have the patience for it.Â
Maybe in the end she just didnât want to hear it. It wouldnât change anything. He was here. She was here and it should be left at that. Nothing would ever be the same and that was something she could handle and deal with.Â
Could he?Â

Headcanon - Locked in a Chrysalis
âYour crimes are numerous. Did you think you could exist like that forever? Causing chaos and destruction with every step you took?âÂ
Her hands were bound by a magic spell, sealing her completely. But it didnât matter... Sheâd been yelled at before but this seemed... Her scarlet eyes glanced around. This was a real trial and they were talking about real punishments.Â
Sheâd ceased practicing and learning about how to control her magic. And due to her strong power it grow wild and dangerous. Any time she cast a spell the backlash was chaotic to all those around her. She hadnât noticed at first but as the years went on it was clear... sheâd just never cared.Â
They werenât really going to do anything to her. She wasnât worried.Â
âYour magic is becoming... dark magic. Taboo.âÂ
That single statement caught her attention and it made her worry just a bit.Â
âSo you will be taught the ultimate lesson where you will learn one way or another that all things come with a price. From now on. No matter what you do be it magic or otherwise it must be given in return with something of equal value. If it is not the difference will be reflected to you from this day to your last day. And even you, with all your powers, cannot undo our say. So it is written and so it is done.âÂ
âSo it is done.â the other judges repeated. Confirming what would be done.Â
âYou canât!â She cried out, not liking such a decision at all. âWhere is Clow? He will never allow such a slight against me.
âNot even he can overturn our ruling once it is said. Once it is done. Going forward, young witch, I suggest you think carefully about all that you say and do, you've done enough damage to your lifespan with your uncontrolled magic. Try to live as long as you can. Every mistake you make going forward will bring about your end even quicker. Itâ a shame this has happened to you, a could have been master of time and space but there will be others. There are always others.âÂ
She could feel their magic weaving this unwanted web around her. Sealing her and all that she could do with these intricate rules and designs. She couldnât do anything anymore. She couldnât travel as she pleased or do as she liked. How was she supposed to live if every piece of magic required something?Â
Worse yet... they kept speaking of this shortened lifespan. Was it just a bluff to scare her? To make her behave? This punishment was more than enough to ensure she stayed in line going forward there was no need to add onto it... which meant, what they said must be true.Â
How much time did she have left? And how much did she want to gamble to test this spell? Her hands clenched at her side as she ignored the judges and their continued babble.Â
How was she going to face Clow like this? How could she even call herself a witch anymore?Â
where do you go when home is a person who isnât here anymore?
