ok ok ok ok one more deltarune ramble before chapter 5!!!!!

Just a tiny thing I noticed about literally everyone in Noelle's life underestimating/smothering/trying to protect her to extremes. But I honestly don't blame them???? This family and town lost a child and throughout all of deltarune everyone is holding on for dear life to noelle nearly every time she's on screen!

Catti is totally immediately turned to booting Kris from the friend group when she found out they were hanging with Susie, essentially saying "well the least you can do is never speak to noelle again since merely being around Susie has corrupted you". Even though Kris is a childhood friend of Noelle's and the seems like the type of choice that would be up to Noelle right? Rudy says he worries about not being able to protect noelle in his condition, how she is scared of everything and NEEDS someone there for her. Berdley has like.... The entirety of chapter 2!!!! Even after his character ark he never shakes the image of Noelle as a damsel in need of protecting AGAIN even from her close childhood friend. And AGAIN taking a desicion that should be hers to make. Carol may possibly allegedly be working with Kris on something that has to do with dark worlds or the prophecy or even her missing sister and Noelle, the one person who should be in on it or at least know about it is excluded from this REALLY IMPORTANT information and if I had to guess why I'd definitely say it's because Carol wants protect her. Even Kris in the weird route is mentioned by Noelle to come to her porch when not being controlled not to explain anything but to tell her it was all a dream. I understand wanting to comfort someone who just went through something terrible like Noelle did, but to lie to her?? To take the entire burden of solving the issue instead of sharing it?? It's all anyone seems to do with her!! She can help with the burden ! She's not useless!!

I seem a lot of people theorize about what horrible terrifying ending the weird route could have but I think we need to put a little faith in Noelle to! I think she is strong enough and smart enough and kind enough to push back especially with how much she grew in chapter 2 we know she is fully capable!!!! I honestly believe the weird route can end in Noelle standing up for her self, wether that means fighting back against the soul or telling a trusted adult or friend what's happening.

What I'm trying to say is a bittersweet but overall hopeful ending to snowgrave is on my deltarune bingo card and a future where Noelle's friends and family can let her loose a little and expect more from her is very likely lol

Since deltarune in 15 tomorrows I really wanted to share my take!! We have so much of the game to look forward too still of course so my thinking may change but I really wanted to wright this down haha.

So in dark worlds: Ralsei looks like a member of kris' family and his name is a anagram for asriel, but obviously he's not asriel, he's Ralsei. Susie's dark world version of "gerson" sounds and moves like him but the game makes a point of telling you it's not gerson. Throughout the whole game (especially with queen, tenna, lanino and elnina ) the're are characters that frequently mirror a parent/child dynamic with the lightners. (That might be giving us a better look at there home lives but idk we'll see) But of course none of them are actually their parents!! And they have a bit more going on to them than just that one metaphor just like Ralsei.

Deltarune has set up time and time again to not immediately jump to a conclusions based on how a character may bare resemblance to another. And with the way Ralsei explains dark worlds in chapter 3 as to be seeing things differently in the dark or that all the darkness aren't really how there appearing to you now, just objects, I was very surprised when everyone took the knights design at face value?? With none of the previous stuff in mind?? " This means it has to be either carol,dess,rudy,or noelle☝️" huh????

The dark world is made up of characters that resemble real people, but are not. Like a kid playing house with toys! We need to take off our mattpatt theory cap and put on our media literacy cap!! Guys!!!! What if like Susie's dark world's version of gerson, the knight is not exactly dess but the idea of her! or a piece of her! or an object of hers! or the guilt and grieving of family and friends who lost a child???? Guys??? I don't think the knight is literally anyone but itself. Especially with the chapter 3 ark with Susie finding out Gerson was deceased so she creates her own dark world to see him again, but it's not really him

Like imagine the ending is like kris and carol have been working together to bring back a person from a place she's not even in, by hurting people who are still here and alive ( not saying dess is necessarily dead lol) and kris or Carol are taking the way the knight looks at face value too, kris probably believes dess knight theory too you know? But deltarune at its core is one long story about childhood escapism and maybe Kris letting go of the knight in the end is the kinda finale they need? Not letting go of dess of course, but at the very least not trying to bring her back in this unhealthy and unrealistic way. Dess probably really did just disappear or run away or passed on in the real world and their isn't anything they can do in a dark world to change that! They don't have to give up on finding her but they may have to except it won't be as easy as going on a magical adventure.

They might have to except theirs a chance they'll never find her. That's a real and very difficult part of the grieving process that anyone who's lost someone has to go through. deltarune is just a very symbolic game. I really do think the knight is the dess equivalent of the gerson armor.

Also have you guys ever seen the 1992 twin peaks movie?? In witch involves a space where people are faced with counterparts of them selves but ESPECIALLY Laura palmer. A highschool girl who's disappearance shook an entire small town. But all we as an audience see is an outward impression of her from things we pick up from family friends and residents that Also only had a surface level understanding of her. And we see a counterpart of her that's not really her but kinda is her true self actually? And she screams bloody murder in an almost empty room while making eye contact with the camera for an uncomfortable amount of time?

Haha yeah that has totally Nothing to do with my analysis totally random guys don't even know why I brought it up looool.

Also super sorry if I seemed snarky or erm actually like at any point I promise I am saying all this with a kind and sincere tone : )

HELLO TUMBLR, We need YOUR help! Me and @rolley-polley-pillbug are working on designs for a childrens puppet show, aiming at ages 5 - 9. Title card: DID YOU KNOW! Compared to humans with 3 layers of skin, puppets have 5! Separated in 2 main groups: 1. 2 layers of soft outer skin (Epidummys). 2. And 3 fleshy inner layers (Hypodum). 3. Puppets must remove the outer skin weekly to clean nails, nooks, and cranies!

This doodles super simple, But have like 5 pages of in-depth puppet hygiene and biology in my notebook but I'm having such a hard time portraying it visual and fitting all my thoughts in little panel boxes. So I might just major league lore drop with a large text wall later : (

I have pages and pages of The Amazing Digital Circus fanart but I have never posted any of it because tumblr could never handle my personal ongoing Jax human AU where he is a Andrew Tate pilled nepo baby podcast bro with premature balding and no chin.

I draw this version of him all the time. Never had a job in his life up all night playing COD calling minors slurs. Pretended to not know how to do basic chores his whole life so now his parents expect his older sister Agatha to do everything.

Uses his allowance to commission a drawing of his busty purple rabbit fursona in a maid outfit then immediately doxes the artist after because " if furries wanna be animals so bad might as well treat them like one".

Finally got a job driving a semi cuz his uncle works for the trucking company and in his first week he managed to hit some string bean fast-food employee but iT'S NOT HIS FAULT SHE SHOULD HAVE LOOKED BEFORE CROSSING THE STREETFUCKFUCKFUCJFUCK SHES FINE HE ONLY GRAZED HEr she's fine just keep driving she's fine she's fine anyways that newest episode was nutz guys haha

NewScapePro plush…… i made one. And I love him so much. It took me a loooong time to decide which one (I went with the deisgn from SCP season 1) and even then I made an alternative outfit (the bully series design) because I’m so ill over this guy.

Might make another one???? Maybe fallout this time since I have a different design for the face. Also I might end up making an undertale version anyway as a commission for one of my friends. So swag <3
