This week's halfway done

Friday, Saturday in sight

Time, don't drag your feet

Part of me

Wants to soldier on

carry this invisible weight

but another part of me

keeps asking

Why?

Why carry it?

Why can't I whine,

bitch, and moan about it?

Why not drop it?

Unease

An unwanted guest

Its arm rests on my shoulders

Please leave me alone

My senses, sleeping soundly

Got to get moving

White roses blooming

Radiant, thanks to your warmth

Always in our hearts
