We're genuinely so brave for the way we somehow manage to navigate cis society never knowing wtf is going on in their heads at any given time

I have a friend who, similarly, transitioned ftm with no bottom surgery and hooked up with this guy he met off grindr. Similarly, it's in his bio and in big capital letters.

So things got going and and he's laying on his back as dude is taking his pants off and then dude just sort of. Stops. Hesitates for a solid minute. Before he can go "hey you ok" the dude visibly shrugs off whatever tripped him up and keeps going. They have a great time.

Several months later the conversation comes up and he asks dude what the deal was with that. Apparently dude hadn't realized he was transgender and so his first reaction to no dick was "where tf did it go??? Did it fall off??? It's gone it disappeared???" before he went "eh, meh, I can work with this" and finished what he started.

It was, apparently, a few days later that he put together that my friend is transgender and not that he lost his penis in a tragic dick-fell-off injury.

Truly, bussy so fire it made him straight up forget that transgender people exist.
