Baby punch is all over the news.. Cute, 😍
This is very true, once it used to bother hurt me deeply, two yrs now I don't care that much at all although sometimes memories flash, and it hurts for five ten minutes but I just wipe the memories and just throw them in my mind recycle bin🫣🫣.. Hahahaha never ever look back and mingle with people who broke your trust... Never!!!!!! Move forward in life..
these two😭💛🫰🏻
Wel, well, well… 👀
Happy valentines day 😉
Very true!
As a queer person who has had this kind of conversation with my straight mother, I'm obsessed with Ilya's reaction to Yuna saying he and Shane staying in the closet and keeping their relationship a secret for the rest of their careers is sad. That feeling when someone's catching up to your lived experience over the last decade.
Heated rivalry
i think one of the reasons that heated rivalry has been so successful is because everyone involved with it is so fucking proud of what they created. like there’s zero embarrassment or shame about how sexual it is or how queer it is and it’s just such a breath of fresh air
Well yes!!
"it's a shame we were not together... but we will have time for that." actually mr nadal i need the fedal world exho tour on my table by TOMORROW
If you wanted to play with Roger, Rafa why you didn't tell Roger about it? you already knew about this exhibition didn't you? You always keep things you yourself even if you want it huh!!!!
hudson saying closeted professional athletes have reached out to him and the cast and rachel reid about the show is so fucking heartbreaking. it’s amazing for like five seconds, and then it’s incredibly sad.
goodbye wrap video dance from ig user connorstorrieofficial, you were bigger than the whole sky 🕊
These two are crazy as hell🤣🤣
Best 2 mins 18 secs this week 😂
He’s insane
This was fun.. Marat seems sweet😅
After his Australian Open triumph, Carlos Alcaraz moves on from Juan Carlos Ferrero and responds to his critics.
Ferrero seems to really be affected 😒, while carlos doesn't want to talk about that past chapter.. What an irony of life.. 🧐

i have limited interest in the storytelling today. i am very concerned that he's torn the same adductor three times in three big events, and that the latest came after an off-season block dedicated to making sure that wouldn't happen
admittedly it's all storytelling, all of our understanding of events from the outside is trying to recognize patterns to put them in an order and decipher them in a way that makes sense. as of last night here's what i've got:
tennis progress is forwards and backwards but you can see the click when it happens. when a player figures out more than they were capable of. i find it is particularly pronounced when musetti Figures It Out. it stands out because he's demonstrative and the ups and downs in his game are so mental, and of course it feels clear to me because i watch a lot of his tennis. we saw the click happen in monte carlo for his tennis holistically/on his surface. the moment where in addition to playing well you decide you don't have to lose. that happened here. the psychological and assumed physical endurance test happened against machac. the conviction came together against fritz. he brought it with him to the djokovic match, which was calm and decisive and clinical for as long as he was physically capable of playing tennis.
viewed in isolation, this timing sucks complete shit for the 2025 australian open (once again in the symbiosis of the tennis dictating the story: getting to sfs would have been a moving run even for people who dgaf about any of the preexisting ~narratives because ultimately you want to see a player unlocking their best tennis see results) but is the "okayest" time for him to get a relatively minor injury within the tour. he has no real points to defend until april. he has a sense of significance about treating his injury after losing grass season last year. it's a shame to lose the opportunity for free points at the golden swing but he could basically rehab for the next two months and lose nothing. realistically i don't expect to see him until march.
re. the injury AND the promise of free golden swing clay points denied: what did i say about the clearer the path looks the more fucked up traversing it is going to be, lol
winning against djokovic matters big-picture. any young player looking to hang with sincaraz has to do this first. to get to the new guard you must first prove you're capable of beating the old guard at 50-75% capacity. thresholds of greatness. (also like on a practical level if you can't beat 2025 djokometa you're not going to have a fighting chance against 2025 sinnermeta.) what does it look like to play a match where you know you were winning, you were dictating play completely and novak literally djokovic was trapped inside the improved conditions of your game, and you lose your leg? do you walk away with the confidence buffer of knowing it's possible or do you get the mental scar tissue of having lost out on the opportunity, of being betrayed by your body (not for the first time)? coin toss. six of one. the hard court click is there to stay for sure, it's not the kind of thing that can be unlearned. and losing february is less depressing than losing wimbledon. it is very true to musetti form to "get" this accomplishment in terms of what it means for his game without getting to have it in the books. let's see if he profits from it.
but again, 3/3 on the same injury under the bright lights. that's not something that can be addressed or fixed through mentality. that's in the existing fragility of the leg, and in the game that maxes out use of the legs.
girls i hate to tell you this but the numbers are true. they're substantiated by other numbers and they're backed up by the tennis. lorenzo musetti is the third best tennis player in the world rn, certainly in slams, and it's not really up for debate on merit. it can be up for dissatisfaction, that's fine. "i wish another guy, most likely one of the other injured up and comers, was doing it" okay i wish i had a really good neighborhood bakery within walking distance from my house. "i wish being the third best after sincaraz came with better results payoff" girl me too. "this proves this era is weak" it's gauche to bring reddit fights to tumblr dot com but regardless of whether or not you believe the big 4 were competing against a deeper bench you can only assess the present tennis based on who's playing presently. the thing that's not up for debate is that if the djokovic threshold is crossed then he has the clear and apparent edge on every other non-sincaraz in the ranking. positive or even h2hs against every other top 10 + 2 sfs/2 qfs across the slams is not really up for debate. none of the other up and comers has a consistent big-events track record like this or like his clay results of last year. maybe he'll get passed but viewed in isolation his game is still visibly improving. capability is not the same as results but we have not seen his ceiling. that IS a threat.
but we won't have the opportunity to, will we, if he ultimately gets benched among the other zillion injured rising generational hopes.
and on that note. this is not just about musetti, and i don't as a spectator have a solution for this, and physical endurance is part of any tennis player's career longevity and short-term ability to compete. but if anything makes this era feel weak it's the fact that we keep losing every potential disruptor to injury the minute it seems like they're poised to break through. rune draper fils. joão on watch. ben at last year's uso. the season is long and grinding and painful but it doesn't feel great to see sincaraz sail into their 10001st final in a field where the rest of the competitors are out for rehab. it makes them feel less like the generational skill picks they are and more like, idk, is 2020s tennis just determined by who has freakishly good muscle recovery? is this it from now on? this can't be it. this cannot possibly be the road we're looking down for the next ten years. and i don't think it is per se if only because no conditions in sport ever last that long in sport. but it is making the present unbearable.
Musetti needs to figure this out sooner, or it will be too late sadly, He does as of now seems the third best player after sincaraz and if not taking novak into account.. His playstyle is beautiful just like Roger😍.. I want to see more of his game improved and him being a potential challenger to sincaraz, but it's true first he has to overcome novak( which he has the potential to do)
All the best!
carlos and novak both mentioning rafa’s epic matches 😭😭😭
Wow rafa has changed so much 😌 His flamboyancy has lessesned a lot with age and even lookswise!
Just two silly goofy cutie pies who had difficulties in doing rock paper scissors at the same time 🐩🐕
He is so cute🥰.. This event was actually fun..
