Rhode Island’s weirdest is Little Compton. If we’re counting census-designated areas, it’s Harmony, a neighbourhood in Providence.

Connecticut’s is Bethany. If we’re counting ghost towns it’s Gay City or maybe Pleasure Beach. Unfortunately Connecticut is a really boring place and all the towns are named for Bible or England or geographical features.

I think California’s is actually Zzyzyx, but maybe the person making the map doesn’t count it, for reasons that should become clear if you go to the wikipedia page I linked. Twenty-Nine Palms is a pretty weird name too, as is Needles.
