Dress Codes in School and Colleges

Okay, I totally get dress codes. I mean, if some girl showed up in her bare essentials to class, or a guy was walking around with no shirt in the building, it would be pretty distracting, and inappropriate. 

But some of the rules, like needing a tank top/ muscle shirt to be three fingers. Or girls not being able to wear leggings and yoga pants without the top covering their bum.

So, maybe if they were a bit less restrictive with still being there, that would be good.

(But I know not everybody feels this way, so)

Should Smoking be banned permanently ?

Someone asked me this in the hall earilier. 

Personally, I dont think so.

So many people are still addicted to it without proper access to help. That can mess up your system if you quit cold turkey. While I agree that it’s not a good thing to start, and I hope the new generation is smart enough to not, I personally know several smokers that would have negative side effects from all out stopping without the proper aid.

(But don’t hate on my opinion, Kay)

Did you know that terrorism is the biggest threat to any country worldwide?

55% of all terrorist attacks in eighty five different countries were heavily concentrated in Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan?

65% suffer injuries and 62% suffer fatalities.

Wow, thats intense... Now I totally get why people are always so freaked out by terrorism...

(I actually, unintentionally tend to stay quite oblivious about these sort of things...)

I found that particularly interesting...

As you would think lack of money would split people up, but, it seems that those with more money have more to squabble about.

(I had actually been thinking it was the other way around. Now I feel silly)

Same sex marriage

Always a fun topic to get tumblr whipped up. In the US, only eighteen of fifty allow it (Leaving 32 with it illegal).

I do know that it is legal in England, Wales and Scotland (Although I think Northern Ireland has yet to "hop the band wagon" persay).

(Personally, I support it, but that is just an opinion of mine)

So, have you lot heard that 48% of men are most likely to fall in love in first sight, rather than women standing in at 28? I never much thought of it in a gender perspective, but I suppose someone has enough to conduct a study upon it.

(Personally, I don't think I would, regardless of my gender)

I personally do not understand why people are so upset about "the dress".

People are going to see things differently. Have you ever heard of the "glass is half full\ half empty"?

It's a human expectancy for answers to very In response.

(But personally, I see both)
