This is the first time I've been using Tumblr in about more than a decade compared to my cringier one that I've had back in middle/high school and I wasn't religious at the time, so here I go.

I'm a Traditional Catholic who fully came back home to the Church during the Pandemic who likes both the TLM and Eastern Rite, and in my spare time I like reading history books, gaming, watching anime and building Gunpla model kits. I'll start slow by posting Catholic as well as Anime, Jpop and Tokusatsu aesthetics and then after that move on to stuff like anime reviews, pictures of my Gunpla models and other stuff. I've just turned 27 today and I'm looking forward to starting fresh again on my new Tumblr blog!

my elderly uncle with Parkinson’s just had his lung collapse. Today—on Thanksgiving!—they’re removing the tube that holds his lung up. He may die soon. If you guys could pray for him, it would really help and be appreciated. God bless 💞

Reading a manga called Dinosaur Sanctuary at the moment and it's fucking delightful. Right after this chapter the author devotes a whole page to their thought process of making this trike sit like this.

I've got caught up with this manga lately after hearing that the mangaka behind it did a book signing at Kinokuniya in SF's Japantown a few months ago, and it's starting to become one of my favorite recent mangas I've read so far. Think Jurassic Park done right as an ethical and successful dino park in this slice of life manga.

This manga also rekindled my interest in dinosaurs that I've had back since elementary school and bought the DK "Dinosaurs and Prehistoric Life" book after.

I've been so busy with work that it sometimes mentally takes a toll on me on the inside over the past few months. Please say a prayer for me.

Sorry to once more be asking for prayers. But if you could please pray for me and my health. The stress of everything that has happened recently has caused my chronic pain to really flare up. And I am dealing with a lot of intense anxiety. Tomorrow me and my family also have to travel to speak with a lawyer about my gran's dementia and making sure we have all of the important documents finalised. Thank you so much for your prayers, and I will keep you in mine.

I tried calling up my doctor to see if they could prescribe me anything for the pain, and I was unable to get an appointment with a doctor. I am going to try and phone up again tomorrow and see if they can offer me anything. Out of hours doctors / A&E isn't really an option because it's not a broken bone or wound so they usually can only offer a regular painkiller which I'm already trying and not getting any relief from. If you could please pray that I'm able to actually get a doctor's appointment and for my pain to not be so intense that would be much appreciated. Right now I'm taking co-codamol and voltarol gel and neither are offering much relief.

Thank you all so much for the prayers. The appointment with the lawyer went well. And although we had to pay a bit more money than expected, it was a lot less than if they had decided my gran's dementia was too far progressed for them to be able to do anything the regular route.
