My labor of love is now live: Wild Magic, the e-book!

Gosh, what a year. If you may not know, awhile back I wrote a Halsin/OC fanfic called Wild Magic (On Finding Bardic Inspiration), detailing some of the events that happen after the game's ending.

I loved the story and the OCs I made so much that I decided to be one of those authors and turn it into an original Romantasy (rated M for mature btw...). To be fair, I did add a lot more scenes (including more spicy scenes) and tightened up the writing as best I could.

It's now available as an e-book on Amazon (and currently working on other platforms).

that SJM interview...

Just a disclaimer: I'm not her biggest fan, but I did enjoy reading Crescent City quite a bit (it was the most mature of her writing in my point of view), and I did enjoy ACOTAR for what it was (twilight but with fairies).

The podcast interview she did recently just basically confirms what I always suspected: that the fanbase reads into her writing waaaaaaaaaaay too much. She apparently was going to make Tamlin/Feyre endgame until Rhysand showed up, which does explain why the retconning of Tamlin felt so awkward in later books (I'm still of the mind his outburst at the council was so understandable, if still shitty in how he conveyed his feelings).

She's clearly just writing this book for the vibes. It's basically like fanfiction in the larger multi-verse she's created in her head. That's fine, of course. It's her story. But it just made me sort of completely tap out with any sort of theory crafting in the foreseeable future.

It's just not that deep (which, again, is okay lol. Not everything has to be 5D wizard chess).
