Fun fact: The Winter Soldier theme is basically bucky screaming.
The music composer took Bucky's screams from when he fell off the train and distorted them, turning them into that eerily tune.
So in short, the theme is literally Bucky screaming and trying to break out of his programming.
Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER
people are always mad about Steve’s endgame ending cuz he left Bucky. I’m mad about it cuz Steve literally already had visited Peggy, asked her about her life, and was happy for her when she said she lived a good life. Now he selfishly undos the happy life she lived with time travel, THAT is more ooc to me. Plus, it erases Agent Carter from canon. And I fucking love Agent Carter.
wAit. hold on... so youre telling me that STEVE ROGERS ABANDONED THIS MAN?
“Even when I had nothing, I had Bucky.”
“I’m with you till the end of the line.”
BULLSHIT.
I don’t know in what world anyone would believe that Steve would actually do that. This ain’t even about ‘Stucky’ bro. Steve would NEVER.
F*CK THE WRITERS WHO RUINED STEVE’S CHARACTER ARC & making him abandon bucky like this
Every time Steve Rogers has sex, a bald eagle is born
No wonder they’re endangered.
Bald eagles are not only not endangered, they’re no longer even mildly threatened, and are in fact in the process of taking over Alaska.
WELL THEN.
*dying*
“Thank god Bucky’s back, we were worried about the Bald Eagles for a while there.”
Sebastian... oh my heart 😭💕
peggy: hey steve, can you go post this letter for me?
steve: post a lett-
peggy: yeah and have you looked at hotels for our vacation?
steve, shaken: oh no lemme just googl-
steve:
peggy: i’m so worried the kids might get polio this summer
steve: polio–
I recommend people to read Captain America: Man Out of Time, it covers the first Avengers story with Cap after he wakes up from the ice. He misses his life in the 40′s, he wants to go back, etc… At one point they fight Kang the Conqueror and Steve gets sent back to V-Day after the Allies won in Europe. At first he’s happy but the reality of him romanticizing his own era due to nostalgia starts hitting him. He was already in a more advanced and, while not perfect, a more accepting time and him having to come back to a time where racism and sexism were worse, where medicine and technology weren’t as advanced, and everyone telling him “Yeah we won! The war is over! Time to rest!” it really leaves him fed up and unsatisfied. He also starts feeling like an outsider in his own time and i the end he decides to do something to go back to the future.
The last pages of that story have Steve writing in his journal about how living in the past is tempting but that it’s where fossils come from and that “there’ll always be something to fight for” so he decides to look ahead instead of back.
That whole story was basically the antithesis of Steve’s ending in Endgame.
Remember that scene in Winter Soldier when Sam’s all “you must miss the good old days” and Steve responds by actively dispelling the romanticizing of the past by pointing out that hey, now people aren’t dying horribly of polio
You’d think the directors and screenwriters of Endgame would have remembered that, CONSIDERING THEY MADE THE WINTER SOLDIER FILM

so someone on twitter said this is the only picture we have of the cap quartet and i-
another day has passed and i still think we deserved to see steve's mom in the mcu and how important she was for his character instead of forcing him with bland love interests...
“steve's life doesn't revolve around bucky"
mcu:
happy 4th of july!!
for havoke.
this was the last time stucky shippers had a win
I had to see the script for myself
and wow it was ridiculous. The “Where'd you get this” question is so stupid. 2012!Steve is smarter than this. He fought “Loki” who had a “fake” copy of his shield and somehow 2012!Steve thought that compass wasn't also a fake copy too?
It isn't unbelieveable that Loki would know of the compass to begin with. Loki mind controlled people and the Avengers would've expected those people to provide information on them. I am willing to bet there's accounts of Steve bringing that compass everywhere because Steve's history from the 40s is without a doubt public. Loki knowing about the compass, a piece of Steve's history, isn't suprising. Steve wouldn't be suprised.
2012!Steve loosing the fight over the compass is both ridiculous and out of character.
What isn't ridiculouos and out of character on the other hand is 2012!Steve letting his guard down enough to be bested in combat after hearing about Bucky being alive (despite how unbeliveable that may be). This is something 2023!Steve knew would work because he's nearly died in combat because Bucky was involved. Remember how Steve
was nearly shot by The Winter Soldier/Bucky twice (in the same 10 seconds no less) once Steve saw his face, but was saved by Natasha and Sam (CATWS)
failed to notice a bio weapon before it exploded on him because the culprit mentioned Bucky, but was saved by Wanda (CACW)
