Happy New Year! I’m starting the year by keeping track of all the habits I want to develop and maintain this year. One of my main goals is to practice Japanese everyday. In order to do that, I’ve unearthed my old Japanese manga to read one chapter a day. This manga in particular is a collection of short stories I stumbled upon a few years ago at Kinokuniya! I hope everyone is having a wonderful new year ⭐️

“in this essay i will explore” memes piss me off because it implies y’all still using first person pronouns when writing academically. childish ass
feigning authorial distance is a coward’s move. get in the fucking pit and fight for your argument
you’re not a failure for failing a test or a class

counting blessings, studyblr edition
having a roof over my head to study in
having the opportunity to go to university
having had role models and peers in my life who pushed me to be driven academically
having had the means to buy assessment books and study guides
having had the means to buy books to encourage my reading habit from a young age
not having to worry about finances to the point where pursuing higher education would be impossible
a little overwhelmed at the moment with uni life, so I’m trying to remember these things and find a different perspective. what are you grateful for?
