November 22nd, 2019
Here’s a few photos I took yesterday. The weather was so good even though it was -20 degrees 😊 (winter is finally here!) On Wednesday I had only 2 classes so I decided to go on a little shopping trip (bought a new pair of jeans and a book - The Virtue of Selfishness by Ayn Rand) I’m really enjoying the abundance of free time that i have these days 💛

november is almost over but there’s still time to finish all my monthly goals.
15.11.2019; planning, espressos and studying.
it has been a pretty productive week and it's kind of nice to get back into the swing of things. i have already planned the next trip that will break my study routine again, but i guess that's a downside (and somehow also a perk) of long distance relationships.
03.11.2019 | today has been somewhat stressful so i’ll just try to relax a bit
Trying to scrape together my research proposal
it’s been a while. getting the thesis done and written is quite a battle for me, I either do it for hours straight or then not at all for several days. my supervisor being hard to reach is not helping the situation. regardless, I am determined to get this project done by the end of november.
I said I was going to post about the thesis journal, but for now it’ll stay in private. I think it might be better to make a concluding post on whether it worked or not once the thesis is done and sent for final evaluation.
I’m going on a social media hiatus until my thesis is done because let’s be honest, I procrastinate like crazy. I have yet to overcome this destructing habit. I know, november is grey and dark and deadlines are kicking in but I wish a very productive month for everyone!

It's so much easier to be productive in the morning but all of my classes are early in the day 🌅
anyone else want to post pictures of their bullet journal...but it’s like way too personal?
06.03.19 || home is where the heart goes quiet || finally spending some time at my parent’s house. Life has been busy lately and i didn’t even notice how much i missed this place.

two of my favourite libraries.
one old, one new. it’s nice to alternate.
the old library is silent and serious, perfect for hours of focused revision.
the new one feels livelier. i go there to be inspired and energised.
There’s something so nice about sitting here (ig: essayism)
Forget pulling all-nighters and chugging coffee until it’s practically coursing through your veins. You know what gets me hyped up? Earl Grey tea on slow sunny mornings after a good night’s sleep. Submitting an assignment early, knowing you’ve completed it to the best of your ability. Reading for pleasure. That feeling of limbless relaxation after a good workout. Unearthing all your buried interests and falling in love with them over and over again.
Repeat after me: success is not suffering. Success is nOT-

my mildliners early in their lifespan. they’re not nearly as pretty now, but they’ve lasted me three years and five bullet journals.
I’mma be real for a second. All the studyspo posts and studyblr reblogs won’t help you unless YOU make the change. Looking to stop procrastinating? Get better grades? Eat healthier? Get fitter?
All that’s stopping you from doing this is you. All you need is discipline. This took me ages of learning the hard way that that’s literally all it is. Discipline. It’s finding the root core of WHY you want to study WHY you want to eat healthier and it needs to be something strong that you can hold on to. Such as being top of your class, going to med school, practicing a good routine for after high school, wanting to feel better by eating better, want a longer life etc. etc.
After you find your motivation, hold on to it. And from there on out you have to fight for it. And practice. With practice it will become easier, I promise. Starting is always the hardest part but don’t give up. Discipline yourself to be who you want and achieve your goals. Don’t let anything stop you.

hey everyone! it’s my first original post! studying some perception for psychology and enjoying some much-needed veggies at a cafe I’ve been meaning to visit for ages.
