A Galaxy For You

So, I wanted to pay my tribute to the great artist Qinni, who passed away very recently.

It breaks my heart to know that her and her family had to suffer through so many things and although she was a strong fighter, life had other plans for her.

I hope to honor her with this piece, I want to pay my respects and give my condolences. I hope the family will recieve a lot of love and support during this trying time.

Draw This Again 2020!

I redrew (or rather repainted) one of my paintings of 2019 and honestly, I am surprised!

I was convinced I barely made progress on my art journey in the last 12 month, but I guess I was wrong. I definitely gained more skill in the compositional and colour picking aspects.

So, I've watched all the seasons of Boku No Hero Academia, to find out, what's the hype about it.

I pretty much fell in love with Best Boy Kirishima Eijirou. He's a little doofus with a strong body and a big heart. Exactly my type!

When he had his hair down for the first time I just couldn't help but create a painting of this version. Also, it was a helpful anatomy and perspective lesson for me, too.

Anime Screenshot Redraw Challenge!

I really wanted to take part in this one because I grew up with this little dork! Still shocked to this day how this sparkly Shoujo Anime could have such brutal parts in it! 💔 I only have a couple of alcohol based markers so colour matching was pretty hard. I've mixed some watercolor pencils with the markers to get a more specific tone, however it didn't work all the time.
