The Static Between Heartbeats
There is a specific kind of magic that only happens after 2 AM, when the world shrinks down to the warm glow of a desk lamp and the soft, rhythmic crackle of a needle hitting vintage wax. Itâs the hour where the coffee has gone cold, but the thoughts are finally running hot.
Iâm currently rotating through some old jazz records, letting the melancholy brass fill the gaps in my silence. There is something deeply grounding about analog soundâit reminds us that beauty exists in the imperfections, the skips, and the hiss of a recording from a decade we never lived through.
Who else is awake in the quiet, chasing a feeling they can't quite name?
