do you have a t/b preference with janka?

This is a difficult question because in an ideal world of reading fanfiction, I would have no preference for who tops and who bottoms, so long as Zanka is always Domming and Jabber is always subbing.

That being said, TOO MANY people equate topping with power, and bottoming with giving up power (patriarchal ideas about penetration being the ultimate act of domination over someone). I've read fics that write Zanka bottoming in a really in character and compelling way but they are so few and far between that if I see "Bottom Zanka" tagged, 9 times out of 10, I'm not clicking on the fic.

Even fics that specify "power bottom" usually irk me because the fantasy that people have in their minds of a power bottom is that theyre basically just a brat. Which doesn't appeal to me at all when it comes to Zanka. Do people know that you can be a brat tamer and still take dick? I don't think they know this. Anyway.

In my mind, they're switches, with Jabber preferring to bottom, but regardless of their physical situation, I can't imagine Jabber being a Dom in any scenario 💀💀 or at least, not a Dom when it comes to Zanka specifically. In other ships I'm sure he could pull it off but not with Janka lol

Actually I need to elaborate on this more because my favorite Janka dynamic is when there's no penetration at all and their idea of sex is so abstract and weird that it wouldn't even register as sex to 90% of people.

And I don't just mean "fighting as a metaphor for sex" I mean scenarios that both party are 100% getting off to but literally nothing inherently sexual is happening. THAT is real kink, to me.

I need Janka writers to find more niche BDSM practices that don't involve any actual "sex" at all because thats where alllllll the juicy and fun stuff is.
