OK but this… THIS right here is motherfucking Batman. Not Captain Angry Nihilist screaming randian bollocks at Morally Ambiguous Superman in the rain, not some motherfucker who runs people over with the batmobile because he doesn’t give a fuck. THIS is Batman, this right here. A man who experienced soul-rending, awful loss in his life and decided to dedicate it to saving as many people as he possibly could from experiencing the same pain.

Batman would hold a baby as best he could, and graciously accept advice when someone told him he was doing it wrong. Batman would ask Alfred for advice on the baby bottle. Because it’s not about him, it’s about doing the best he can to help anyone who needs it.

I love this picture so much. It's got everything.

Superman being all buddy-buddy with Batman as he broods and tries to looks serious in the very funny picture. Everyone else smiling. Almost everyone looking like they're going to bust out laughing because this is so ridiculous. The fact that you know Batman probably agreed to be part of this and still sticks to his brooding nature, like holy frick that just makes it that much funnier. Wonder Woman and Martian Manhunter looking at each other because this is so silly and the way Black Canary is resting her head against Green Arrow's while holding his hand. The entire back row. Everyone in the picture. The banner in the background. Everyone except for Batman smiling.

I really enjoy the whole "you can always get better" element of Dragon Ball. No matter what, the characters can always improve, always get stronger, and they know this. Even if they think they can only get a small bit stronger, it's worth it to them and they still want to, Especially Goku. And I really like that.

I actually really like how Marvel embraces different ideas for their comics using alternate realities. Wanna see Gwen Stacy as Spider-Man or Deadpool, but it doesn't fit with the primary canon? BOOM, alternate realities, Spider-Gwen and Gwenpool.

I don't actually have any other examples but I mean, I just love that.
