I saw these really cute tops in NL today and none of them were tagged, I picked up 5 items and 3 of them were untagged by chance but there was no way I could have left that changing room with 2 items

🍥 Smol but Cute Haul 🍥

Hit up Dëbênhäms: the palettes were super easy to snag using the pamphlet method (picking up an in store catalog, holding it in my hand, and slipping palettes behind it / in it, and then putting it in my H&M bag). And then for the underwear and food scale, I just slipped em in my bag in a blindspot. Then I headed up to where the in store bathrooms are and sat and checked there was no tags inside the packages.

dont judge me, but ya girl’s got thicc thighs and the boxers are really comfy for wearing under dresses and skirts 👗

Also discovered a tip for lifting jewellery today, if you struggle to conceal on the shop floor sort of hide it amongst a few items of clothes. Then when you go into the changing rooms check for RFIDs, etc, the usual drill then take it home

workers will be exploited the same amount whether or not shoplifting takes place,,, workers will still be treated like dirt and will receive hour cuts whether or not shoplifting takes place,,,, corps do not want to pay for benefits or overtime for their employees so they will cut hours and blame it on shoplifting whether or not shoplifting took place..,, the amount lost to lifting is so small that corps do NOT need to abuse their employees for that reason but THEY DO IT ANYWAYS…. Look up any corporation’s annual net incomes / gross profits and compare them to annual payroll expense AND annual theft loss of inventory / annual shrinkage. WHY are workers still being abused even with the billion dollar profits after all expenses?

i just snagged a ton of stuff from TJmaxx (cant post haul bc im w family sad sad). there were NO cameras on the floor - only over the register which was like. miles. away from he dressing room. so i shoved a sweater, a t-shirt dress and some booties into my bag before nabbing a coat and jeans and detagging the stuff in my bag in the dressing room. thought this could work for some other people!

The stuff I got is from Dillard’s, Macy’s, Belk, Pac Sun, Bath & Body Works, Lush, Altar’d State, Ulta, and Sephora. 

Highlights include a $1300 drone, a Nutribullet, Gucci and Versace sunglasses, a Versace shirt, and a ton of makeup and other electronics. Managed to walk out with full totes from Sephora, Ulta, and Bath & Body Works, as well.

Hey Stormy, I was wondering what advice you have for lifters over 18? Just anything you can think of is fine. Thanks! 😊

Well I didn’t even start lifting until after then! My sister got me into it and I was like hey holy shit how fun could this be… not having to spend my life savings on things I want? I’m not a super materialistic person believe it or not, but I think that always had to do with the fact that I was never financially able to get myself what I wanted. When I came home that one day from Sephora with ~$700 of new high end makeup, I felt more beautiful than I had in a long time. When I go to college in my Nike leggings and get compliments on them, I feel happy. When I’m sitting at home doing three face masks that are $100 combined, I feel like I deserve to feel good for once, y'know? Lifting has boosted my self confidence.

That’s not to say being over 18 and still at it is smart. I’m banned from every single Sephora in the world for the rest of my life. I’m banned from the mall I stole from for 3 years. It was humiliating going to court. Luckily, I’m doing what my state calls a diversion program. Basically I go take shoplifting classes all weekend for 16 hours then pay a fine then it doesn’t go on my record. I was terrified that I had ruined my life before it had even begun.

Sometimes you really do have to weigh the pros and cons. Even if you’re doing the wrong thing for the right reasons, it’s still the wrong thing. That’s what the law sees. And if I fuck up again, that’s all anyone else is gonna see. So I guess my advice is to not let it consume you. Everyone always told me “find what you love and let it kill you”, or whatever that phrase about true passion is. Don’t pick lifting as a passion. Choose yourself.

Stormy’s solo (and aesthetically color pleasing 😂) haul!

It doesn’t seem like much, but this was all superrrrrr EXPENSIVE. My new favorite moisturizer, that little white Mario Badescu one, is $28 for just 2 oz.

It’s about a 50/50 split between Urban Outfitters and Target for all these goodies, excluding the Lancôme eye mask (not worth however much I didn’t pay for it) and the Clinique acne set. This only took me two days to get because I kept hitting up different Targets to see if different locations had more/different face mask options and they did, so I stocked up! My skin has never been so flawless and ‘glowing from within’ in my life. And it’s only been a week using the products!
