Statement on SubScorp Week 2022
Hello. It’s @summertrapped here, it’s probably about time I made a statement on SubScorp Week this year.
For those who don’t know, my co-host @maagspies hasn’t been heard from since August last year. To my knowledge no one has been able to contact her. My best efforts to find alternate contact info have sadly come up short, and at this point, I genuinely do not know if she will ever return. I still hope she will, but I really do not know anymore.
This has left me in a rather hard position in terms of SubScorp Week. We didn’t exactly plan for something like this. We definitely wanted to do a second event this year, that much was certain, and we’d definitely talked about that, just not what would happen if one of us wasn’t here.
I’ve spent a long time considering where I want to go with this. On one hand I’ve felt extremely guilty about the idea of doing it without her. On the other hand, there’s a part of me that feels like I owe it to her to keep the event we worked so hard on going. This hasn’t been an easy decision to make.
But I’ve come to one, there will be a SubScorp Week. This week is dedicated to Mags and all the wonderful work she created for this ship. I can’t think of anything more fitting than a celebration of the ship that gave her so much joy.
If Mags does come back, she will absolutely be welcomed back to the captain’s chair with open arms. That was one of my main stipulations on going forward with this. I would love nothing more than to have my partner in crime back.
All this being said, this will likely be my last public post here, at least for now. From this point forth all “front of house” dealings for the event will be manned by @mcbethins & @michael-young-history. I am still involved in the week, I will just be doing a lot more of the behind the scenes work. I’ll be honest, things are still very raw for me, I think it’s best for everyone involved and the event as a whole if I take a step back.
Thank you all for your time. More news will come soon hopefully, once we’ve gotten ourselves organised!

What types of spells does Wuhe do? Teleportation? Element based damage? :O
Wuhe doesn't have any element power, but....she is an empath! (kind of???
Even without her magic, she is really good at gauging people's mind, she understands people's mood easily. She can tell if you are lying or if you are hiding your sadness etc.
When using her ability, she can sense those emotions and change them slightly. (One example can be if someone is really angry Wuhe can use her power to make them angrier so they will be reckless and expose their weakness).
However, even if her power is empathy, she is lack of it, empty of pity. Like if you are happy she is happy if you are in pain she is still happy.
Other than that, she can create hallucinations and alter your dream. Showing you your greatest fear/painful memory or your greatest desire/let you drown in fantasy.
If you had physical contact with wuhe for long enough, she can read your mind or your memories to get what she wants.
