This is a short comic I did for Kel McDonald’s Cautionary Fables & Fairy Tales anthology, which came out some time last year. It’s based on an African fairy tale called The Pretty Stranger Who Killed the King, which is a really brutal story, even worse than my comic! XD Seriously, fairy tales are awful. To be honest, I wish I’d made this story a little darker and actually had the King and the Witch fight each other before he kicks it, and he pulls off her amazing Mission: Impossible mask. Oh well. I decided to set it in space because WHY NOT. :D It’s the first and probably last sci-fi/space comic I’ll draw because I don’t like drawing tech-y looking stuff.
