Well I think people shouldn't get judged unnecessarily (or harshly)/hatecrimed/outright murdered/etc etc just because of what other people think of them.

Ya know, racism, homophobia, sexism, ableism, etc etc quite literally kills people.

People don't like you for some reason at a job interview? Guess you're not getting that job you desperately need. So now maybe you're homeless.

You don't have a supportive family? Well, guess your shit outta luck.

What if someone is lonely because nobody wants to be their friend? Or maybe your romantically single?

Idk... The list goes on. But ya get my point? If it doesn't matter what people think, then why does it still affect people then?

I just dont like how people can treat you like shit just because of how they view you.

NOTE: Yes, I still think that you should just love your life how you want to, but that doesn't mean that what other people think doesnt affect you in any way, because it does.

And what pisses me off the most is so many of you have used “protecting your peace” as an excuse to foster 0 conflict resolution skills, cut people off with no explanation, mistreat your friends, be anything but empathetic about human errors your friends are prone to making just as you’re prone to making, never sit in discomfort of having an opposing opinion with someone else, and to also just be blatantly rude and mean spirited. Like a lot of you are obsessed w humbling people and it’s sad. You mistake your flippancy for strength, when it’s anything but. Maybe it’s insecurity too, but above all else it’s flippancy and the inability to put yourself in other people’s shoes. It’s weakness disguised as confidence. And it is genuinely harmful, both to yourself and to others !

Hi. If you support disability accommodation, but don't think panic attacks, insomnia, nausea or chest pain from anxiety, or other anxiety-disorder-related symptoms are an acceptable reason for someone to take breaks from school or work... Then you don't actually support disability accommodation.

(And it probably wouldn't take much to get you to apply that same ableism to other conditions, too.)

my logical brain: “there literally is no one there ever, also i would hear if someone came in, also there’s other people in the house, how could someone come in and go behind the shower curtain when there’s so many people in here, and ALSO WHY WOULD THEY”

my brain with my GAD: “idk, but there’s definitely someone behind the curtain, we must have it always open to eliminate that hiding spot”
