“Adam demonstrates this sneaky move guys occasionally put on me while taking a photo. Adam can’t even really do it properly because, well, he’s not a natural predator.
I always laugh when it happens because it’s so shockingly audacious when it happens, and it reminds me a bit of being in the strip club when I’d make guys offer a significant financial apology for being grabby. The choice was either a financial apology (usually $20) or get removed from the premises.
So last night at the fancy party, an obnoxious guy from Dubai did the move, and actually just handed me a 100 euro bill, so I figured he must be very accustomed to financial apologies! I laughed and showed the bill to Adam.
Oh, and another one was New Year’s Eve at the meet & greet, an older man with a young (maybe stripper) girl as his date. I guessed stripper because I was watching their interaction closely and obviously I mean “stripper” in the best way, since I was and still am one, even if I’m not technically out on the battlefield anymore. So he was super handsy and knew straight away to start pulling out hundred dollar bills, so I think some of these guys are used to paying to go out into the world and act like that.
They have a clever technique, no? Side boob starting at the waist or rib cage, the person taking the photo doesn’t really notice, because they’re focusing on taking the picture. But at least some of the ones that seem to do it all the time know it’s risky, and have a crisp hundred or two or three ready to go.
Oh, but wait… when Larry King interviewed me he took a handful of ass, and I got no offer of cash. I’ll have to dig out that picture because I know I was laughing from shock about it, because it was so full on, and I told my manager just afterwards and she said…’Me too!’.
I hope you don’t mind me being lighthearted about it, I know some people are very sensitive about their personal space and to some, none of this is funny.
And trust me, some days I’m quick to say ‘remove your hands’ or ‘yes, I’ll take a photo but do not touch me’ or I’ll just remove their hand/arm because moods change and sometimes I’m ready for it and sometimes I’m shutting it down.”
