Who Are You? - Spontaneous school project about my bathroom anxiety as a trans person. Planning + execution made within 40 minutes. Mounted in art school toilet.

i'm posting this because i'm proud of how i came up with on a whim (ignore the incomplete strip i was rushed LOL), but also that in less than 10 minutes of it being mounted, it was ripped off the walls.

since venting about this, SOME cis people have responded with "haha art student pains" "that's the way it is with art right?" it's not about my silly sheets of paper made in 20 minutes being torn off. it's about how someone was apparently so enraged by a harmless sheet of paper prompting the viewer to simply think one more second about which toilet they're using and why. it's concerning. this is an art school ffs

i'm glad it was provoking enough to elicit such a response though. my point IS to be a public annoyance after all. but goddamn is it exhausting.

we'll persist regardless :)
