CHARACTERS

Guillermo de la Cruz

-He stops being a familiar/wanting to be a vampire. His aim is to be a normal human and "make up for lost time"

-He returns to Panera Bread

-He starts living in the storage room at the garden of the Vampire Residence (😩)

-The vampires drag him in their...problems

-His friendship with Nandor will be questioned

-He's a fan of a series, that Simms describes as "for old souls". He writes about it?

Nandor the Relentless

-He goes on adventures? It seems that they're based on films from the 80's. The vampires have to help/rescue him at some point...?

-He will be at Panera Bread at some point after Guillermo goes there to work

-He has a fight with Laszlo: he wants to use the space under the stairs left by Guillermo to make a training area, Laszlo to make a lab

The Guide

-She still wants a friend, and at some point she finds it in Jerry, the new/old vampire roommate

-He thinks Jerry could "guide the vampires in the right direction"

Jerry

-He is the 5th member of the Vampire Residence

-He has been slumbering for 50 years. It seems the rest of the house...forgot about him.

-The first episode of the season is his debut: "The return of Jerry"

-He makes the vampires question themselves and their original aim of world domination

-Actor: Mike O’Brien

Laszlo Cravensworth

-He will be reunited with his dad in ghost form

-He will be the one finding that vampires can be hypnotized while slumbering. He will use this to make his roommates think his is the one in charge

-He will be obsessed with...Amazon?

-He will try to make, with dead human parts, a familiar (a Frankestein)

Nadja of Antipaxos

-She will join the workfield in a human-normal-job

-She will have an argument with Laszlo because of an old topic. But they will return to their "old horny selfs" soon enough.

Colin Robinson

-He wants a friend, and thinks the Frankestein created by Laszlo could be the one.

Baron Afanas

-He returns with his "more human self" thanks to a liquid secreted by the Guillermo!frogs that have regeneration powers.

Plots/Info:

*Confirmed 11 episodes, starting 21st October. 3 episodes will be aired, and then one weekly.

*There will be a "summoning demon" plot

*There will be "a human dinner/party" plot

*It seems that Paul Simms wanted "a season you could watch and have fun without watching the others". So it seems the episodes will be auto conclusive

Have y'all ever considered that maybe the reason so many gay couples in media are reduced to subtext, blink-and-you'll-miss-it moments, "they don't need words to define their relationship", "they don't need to kiss to prove they're together", and "they're not the type to be sexual" isn't because the authors have some preference for subtle love stories (look at how their straight couples are treated) but because they are, in fact, homophobic people who know that you'll praise them for giving out scraps while never having to actually put explicit homos in their show.

Like, I'm sorry, but if an author has no problem letting their straight characters fuck on screen but their gay characters could reasonably be read as really close friends then you don't have shit in the way of representation.

wwdits nation is this a safe space to say that i’m ..Worried about s6. that trailer did not show very promising things and it just seemed ?? so ?? off ?? like everyone’s characters seemed Off. laszlo’s “time of the month” joke really stuck out to me like why is mr loves his wife more than life itself stooping that low?!?! r the writers mischaracterizing their own characters?!?!

I was rewatching the series and it still baffles me how we had Nandor in the same season turning the woman he supposedly wanted to marry for how many fucking years and ten five episodes later saying he couldn't turn Guillermo because he cared for him too much like come on my dear boy put two and two together

I really think Nandor, in his own way, loved Gail, and he thought his feelings were reciprocated + he turned her in a "time of need"

It's not the sex imo, but the little details like he remembering her fav yogurth and buying it or stealing it by himself that shows his love.

With Guillermo...I really think that he knew Guillermo was not cut for being a vamp

i cannot tell you HOW pissed I would be if ten years down the line Harvey and Kayvan did a reunion tour of cons or some shit and they admited that they agreed to play nandor and guillermo as in love with each other in spite of the writers and that's why all their little moments are so interspersed throughout the show and easy to miss. I'd be SO pissed (thrilled)

The worst part is that showrunners/writers/Harvey and Kayvan (and this one said it again in a Q&A days ago) said repetedly that their relationship is described as a "will-they-won't-they" end up together, so yes, there was an "intent".

The showrunner/writers even said that this kind of relationships must be kept until the end of the series to maintain peoples interest.

They just decided that "is a won't" starting saying shit like "their relationship is deep/precious to have sex" etcetc but not showing a SINGLE gay relationship in a queer show except Guillermo/Freddie and in just ONE episode. That's why people feel it has been all a shipbaiting.

So... I made the dolls!

It took blood, sweat and tears, but I did every single stitch entirely by hand, stabbed myself with the needle and had a fit and a half doing Nan-Doll's hair... but, apart from Nan-Doll needing clothes, they're all done!

(I plan to keep making them little outfits, because it's so much fun! And taking pictures of them in their outfits and going on adventures.)
