Paul McCartney: Now that I am very old, rich, excellent at controlling the narrative, and all statutes of limitations have passed I would like to begin this album with a song about how I met John Lennon once, decided we were meant to be together forever, and started watching him outside his window every night obsessing over whether I had made an impression on him or not.

Paul McCartney: The song will then transition with a musical split fighting itself between eras, where it will turn into me obsessively wondering if John was lying awake thinking about me during our Divorce and his time with Yoko and implying I repeated this behavior, wondering if I successfully haunt his thoughts, his dreams, and implying that if John had been willing and ready to come out I was down immediately.
