Ok SO. With @hyperfixating-rn-brb we just got a massive illumination and we think we found how the finale will begins, and OH MY GOD it fits perfectly.
Are you desperately hoping for Angel!Crowley, the Fall, Crowley having a nightmare, and homeless Crowley in the finale? We've got you covered.
As we all know, both seasons began with a flashback. Season 1 with the Garden of Eden, and Season 2 with Angel Crowley and Aziraphale before the beggining.
It would therefore make sense for the film/finale to also begin with a flashback, but which one ?
Among the possibilities, Crowley's fall is one of the fandom's most desired scenes, as it's a crucial point in the plot and Crowley's backstory
Now, let's leave that aside and talk about the trailer.
Metatron was visibly annoyed, mad at the one who just walked his office, someone who shouldn't be there but who nevertheless had access.
Metatron is wearing a toga, so it's definitely a flashback, and there are scrolls behind him.

Angel Crowley wanted answers to his questions, so he went to the highest point, the point closest to the big boss, the fourth floor, to ask them.
And then he fell for asking too much.
"But how will this fit in with Crowley being homeless scene?"
Angel Crowley walks into The Metatron's office, tries desperately to get answers to his questions. Then a cut to Crowley's fall: Crowley falls from Heaven, wings out, crosses the stormy sky roaring with God's wrath. And just before crashing to the ground in a pool of burning sulfur, a loud noise and CUT : transition to modern Crowley lying in a damp, dirty, and dark alley, jolting awake.
