Pt. 5/5 - Chuppon Piggy: Clover [$23]
I’ve saved the best for last because this item is so cute and it’s great for beginners who are interested in planting. Chuppon comes in many different species of animals and each animal are of different plants. For example, my Chuppon Piggy is clover. My sister bought a Chuppon Panda, which was basil, and they also have a bunny for wild strawberry! I bought this during one of my other visits to Kinokuniya and I just had to buy it because it was so adorable!
What is Chuppon?
Chuppon is a self watering plant and drinks from its cup whenever it is thirsty. Your only job is to make sure your plant is not overgrowing in the small basket and to transfer your plant whenever you think it is time to do so.
My Chuppon Piggy was very easy to plant. Here are the steps!
🍀 Step 1: Remove your Chuppon animal from its case. Then remove the peat pellet, seeds, and instructions from the basket on your animal.
🍀 Step 2: Get a cup and see if your animal can fit your cup. Your animal will be drinking from this cup.
🍀 Step 3: You’re going to need a small cup or bowl with 1 tablespoon of water. Open up your peat pellet and place it into the water. [You will see your peat pellet absorb water in seconds.]
🍀 Step 4: Make sure the string is in the basket. This is very important!
🍀 Step 5: Carefully insert your peat pellet into the basket.
🍀 Step 6: Using your finger, create a hole to plant your seeds. Make sure it is not too deep and not too shallow. A LITTLE above “halfway” of the basket should be fine.
🍀 Step 7: Plant your seeds into the hole and using your finger to place soil on top of the seeds.
🍀 Step 8: Your Chuppon is ready to be placed on its cup to drink so do so! Pour in water that meets the straw halfway. Place your Chuppon in a bright area that is not under direct sunlight. Once you see it sprouting, you may then place it under direct sunlight.
🍀 Step 9: Make sure you check weekly on your plant to assure that the water level is halfway and the progress of your baby plant!

Pt. 4/5 - Sprout Bookmarks [$8]
This isn’t like my other posts about planting, but I thought I should share these cute sprout bookmarks with you guys! They are made out of non-toxic silicon and there has not been any known harm to the environment or organism in the environment from the use of silicon products. Moreover, it saves up on using heavy metal bookmarks and paper bookmarks.
They can be used in two different ways. One method is displayed in the first example and the second method is displayed in the next. These bookmarks are so soft that they do not damage your books or pages overtime. Personally, I like using the first method because of the cute sprout popping out of my book.

Pt. 3/5 - Eggling: Wild Strawberry [$10]
When I visited Kinokuniya, I saw this during my checkout and I instantly thought about whereflowersdance so I purchased one for me and one for her as a souvenir. It’s just the cutest idea and it is very easy to start planting your own wild strawberries. Strawberries are best planted when it is very sunny outside and the nights are cool~
So my egg came with instructions, but the instructions are not very clear so if you purchase your own little egg, please follow MY set of instruction instead.
🍓 Step 1: You need to remove your egg from the packaging. You cannot wiggle your egg from the box so please... just rip it apart.
🍓 Step 2: At the bottom of your box, you are provided with a cute little terra cotta tray. Use it. It is your egg’s home.
🍓 Step 3: Stand your egg upright and with the use of a spoon [that is not plastic], gentle tap on the top of the egg. Make sure you do not tap too harshly because you may crack your entire egg... to pieces. You will slowly see your egg open larger and larger. Continue tapping until it is wide enough like the photo above.
🍓 Step 4: You can empty the shells into the trash, but it also serves as a fertilizer.
🍓 Step 5: Your egg is already filled with wild strawberry seeds but to ensure the growth of your berries, plant more seeds into your egg that was provided for you in the box. [To plant: use your finger and dig a hole into the dirt. Pour your seeds in there evenly and cover up the seeds with the dirt. Do not plant it too deep.]
🍓 Step 6: Place your egg on the terra cotta tray and slowly water your egg until you notice that water is being drain on the tray. Stop watering at this time.
🍓 Step 7: Place your egg in a bright room with 60 degrees Fahrenheit or higher.
🍓 Step 8: Repeat watering process in Step 6.
Your little eggling has enough nutrients for 5 months! Once you see that your little guy is growing bushy and larger, you can transfer it to a larger pot and break the egg into pieces as a fertilizer.

Pt. 2/5 - Succulent Love
I thought I should start on this because it’s the first plant I started with this year, besides my Orchids [in the previous post.] This is also my very first succulent plant that I love so much and it reminds me of my time at Longwood Gardens with my sister, calciferr-r. There is something about succulents that makes me very happy.
So what’s good about succulents anyway?
Succulents, like many plants, offers many benefits in your household. I personally have respiratory issues because of my asthma; therefore, my grandma likes to keep plants throughout our house. [We used to have an aloe plant, which I have yet to replace. Since my family is very headstrong about herbal medicine, we used the aloe for healing and health purposes.]
6 Benefits of Having Plants in Your Home:
You will breathe easier [You don’t want to stop doing that.]
Purifies the air [Who doesn't want purer air?]
According to research, it increases your focus and mental stability
Your home would have more humidity [Bad for your hair, but benefits your skin and respiratory issues.]
Over time, it would improve your overall health.
They make you happy! [The happier you are, the more it would help you function better.]

Pt. 1/5 - Introduction: Earth and Plant Love
This week is a great week for me to post about my love for my plants because not only was Fascination of Plants Day was Monday, May 18, 2015, but recently, a Swedish university student has created a design for our “Earth flag.” This flag designed in meant to be used during future exploration of other planets. Although this is just a project and there has not been any news of official use of this design as a flag, the concept is great.

♡ CARBONATED BUBBLE CLAY MASK [100g] REVIEW $46 ♡
Product Details:
Clean pores
Contains carbonated water, green tea, collagen, and charcoal
Gradually and safely removes blackheads
Very gentle and recommended for sensitive/delicate skin
I received this mask in my Memebox #16 OMG Box from Korea and it was a very interesting item. My friend, Jenny, was instantly interested and I swear that she was way more excited for me to receive this in the mail than I was.
First Thought: It is VERY gentle and I even had two friends who had delicate skin and who were prone to breakouts to try this product for me as well and they both agreed that this product was very gentle.
Directions: Apply this mask over your dry and UNCLEANED face. Leave it on for about 5 minutes or until you see it foaming into a puff like the image above. Then you will wet your hands and massage your face in circles and then rinse it off with warm water.
Pros:
♥ It is a very thick product so you’ll get a lot of use from it.
♥ Very gentle
♥ Does not dry out your skin like normal clay masks would
♥ Fun to use!
♥ My face was extremely soft after the first use
Cons:
💔 It’s very difficult to wash off.
💔 Did not remove blackheads efficiently, but it helped with current pimples!

Happy Sunday! I’m finally on track with blogging and everything so hooray!
This past Thursday was very eventful because one of my best friends, Vassana [vmedear] came to visit me from Lancaster, PA. Initially, she was suppose to come on Wednesday and leave Thursday night, but under certain conditions, we had to squeeze everything into one day. It wasn't as stressful since she slept over regardless. :]
When she arrived, we went to Tea Do for drinks. I ran into my sister’s friend, Sandy, there. Then coincidentally, my two old friends, Peiying and Tom, ran into me! It was fun updating myself a little bit with them. Unfortunately, I couldn't see my friend, Nicole, who was the reason why I wanted to stop by in the first place.
Afterwards, we stopped by Wokworks so I can grab pork belly buns and it was scrumptious<3 Then I took Vassana to Rittenhouse Square Park as we sat around enjoying the weather and Vass actually made a friend there! This butterfly couldn’t stop landing and flying around us so she ended up naming it “Pudge,” rofl.
Since we were on a tight schedule, we went to Franklin Fountain afterwards and enjoyed our ice cream by the river and watched the sunset. Then we went to the Soft Tofu House to grab some dinner, which I regretfully ate the hot tofu way too quickly because it resulted in an upset stomach by the end of the night.
After the Tofu House, we picked up Gabe from our house to visit Vassana’s friend, Mikey, at his birthday celebration for a bit. I met some new people but I didn’t bother to ask for contacts knowing that I would probably not see those people ever again after the party. We headed to Bobo’s about an hour later so we can see Lisa, Eric, Ben, and James. After having our drinks, Vassana headed back to the party with Gabe since we left pretty early, but I remained at the bar with my friends until closing time at 2am. [I told you it was SO eventful that day, hahaha.]
Eric drove me home after his shift at the bar and I pretty much waited for Vassana and Gabe to come home. Gabe had to sleep on the couch so Vass can sleep on my bed and I gave her two facials before she knocked out. I didn’t get any sleep until about 5am since I was editing these photos for instagram! [@thevinguyen]
Vassana had to leave the next afternoon after we ate a little brunch at my house. It was great seeing her again and it reminds me of how low maintenance our friendship is because we can always pick up where we left off after days and even weeks of not speaking because we both are so busy. [I love you so much, Vassana and I cannot wait to see you again next month for your apartment-warming party. <333 Until then!]

Happy Sunday, everyone!
Do you know the feeling of having your nails “dry” on the outer layer but prone to messing up within a few hours?
Well, this is a very quick tip on how to avoid messing up your nails after polishing them and you only need two items: baby oil and cotton balls. These items should be accessible to you either in your own home or by spending $5 at the drugstore.
By applying baby oil to your nails:
• You will prevent minor damage to your freshly painted nails • You are moisturizing your skin
After painting the top coat on your nails, you should:
1. Wait until your top coat has dried 70%.
--> To test this, try to touch your nails. If no imprints are made, you are good~
--> If you accidentally made a mark, do not panic. Just apply top coat again.
2. Apply a generous amount of baby oil onto the cotton ball.
3. Apply the baby oil onto your nails, generously.
It’s that easy! Now you can move freely around, with minor caution, with your nails. I usually use this trick when I paint my nails at night and I know I am on the verge of falling asleep. This way, I don’t have to worry about waking up in the morning and having hair strand printed onto my nails!
Hope this helps you~

Before Sunday is over, I would like to wish all of the pretty big and little mommas a *Happy Mother's Day*
I've been compelled the entire day to say 'Happy Birthday' instead of 'Happy Mother's Day,' but it was a friendly reminder that we would not be here if it weren't for our mothers' option to give birth to us. It takes both of our parents to create us, but it is really our mothers' option to destroy their own bodies to bring what our parents created into this world.
These are my two moms (the younger one being my real mom). I tend to forget to appreciate them and their meaning to my life because I am not the best daughter/granddaughter in the world. I get caught up with my own well being and preference that I forget about their emotions. I don't realize that they always worry for me and always look out for me, in their own form of expressions.
I feel like I am speaking for a lot of young adults and even older adults out there when I say mothers are the toughest human beings on earth and we love you for it.
