honestly i think markiplier was probably relieved to see that people aren't actually shipping him anywhere and are instead shipping a character he plays with another character, and that while we are joking and saying shit like "ohh I've fallen into the markiplier x Ryan gosling ship lol" no one is actually shipping the irl people together (and if people are doing that their keeping it quiet and far away from him)

i mean i was there for septaplier (idk if that's how you spell it, it's been years) and that was irl markiplier x irl jacksepticeye. this is not that, this is Simon x Ryland grace, two fictional characters.
