So I go “okay what about Doctor 8?” (ofc I didn’t tell him about 8’s static voice)

To which he started saying to me ALL day after that.

As someone who finds hands Very important, the fact that The Ghoul and Lucy have that whole finger amputation exchange really makes me a bit mental and I WILL have to draw more art about it even though it happens in s1. It's just such a sick idea and such a cool way to bond these two very different but similar characters. Like they have a blood pact exchange, a part of each other - which is also true to how they mirror each other's choices.

Also it's unclear to me but some ppl say The Ghoul sewed Lucy's finger onto his hand? That would be so juicy if true, but to me when he's sewing it just looks like his own finger that he could have picked up from the ground. I think that maybe he just kept Lucy's as a weird keepsake for the exchange. Like an eye for an eye. But they have the scars in common. And I guess Lucy has dead flesh on her now which could symbolise him and the part of her that is like him. No surprise it's her trigger finger too 🤔 Idk. It's cool tho.
