I picked Chikorita at the start, leaving Urbain with Tepig & Totodile—who’d be Emboar & Feraligatr at this point and can mega evolve. Not only that he also has a Manectric who can also mega evolve.
…So explain to me how he lost to Corbeau during Jacinthe’s tournament???
The general consensus I’ve seen is that Corbeau is 5’4”…meaning I’m shorter than this man by four. inches.
Don’t get it twisted: I still love this gremlin of a man, but he’d be super annoying about it.
Kind of a silly thought, but how would Corbeau react to encountering a trainer who looks younger than him only to find out they’re older than they look (I’m 31 but five feet tall with a baby face)?
Safe to say that he’ll be a tad bit embarrassed!
However, before an apology can ever leave his lips, you’ll have to endure Corbeau calling you 'kid' numerous times.
For some odd reason, you always get interrupted trying to correct him…
*Wheeze* I had a feeling he’d be super annoying & petty about it—probably even pinch my damn cheeks.
I haven't beaten the game yet but Corbeau is so fucking funny to me. He's short. Hes the head of the mafia. He scares the shit out of you and makes you do unpaid labor to pay off your friends debt. The labor is just small helpful tasks that take less than 5 minutes. He phrases them like a mob boss task to make them sound scary. He talks like a gen z who's trying to hide he's a gen z. Hes short. He wears a coat that looks slightly too big on him. He checks up on you after every task and says weird shit to you. Asks you if you think his Scolipede is cool. Says "wow you're huge, old man" to AZ and is promptly ignored. Gloats about his neat handwriting to Urbain who ALSO ignores him. Does a little jump when throwing out his pokeball. He's short.
He's so funny I love him.
I'm so curious how your Corbeau would look with fangs. And what would lead to it? Magic making him mimic his arbok? Vampire shenanigans? What kind of effects would his bites/poison have? And how would the syndicate (especially Emmet) react? So many possibilities...
I actually hc him with fangs (naturally) and draw him with them quite consistently; just haven’t drawn him evenly with his mouth open enough to flash them SKSKS
fangs + his poisonous body fluids means his bites are extremely potent and that more easily can lead to infections for those within biting range!

Corbeau may be my favorite character in the entire Pokemon franchise.
I love this short, snarky poison king—even if his Mega Scolipede wrecked half my team (I still won don’t worry lol)
