donttt know why they would have this character break his leg. its Out Of Character for him to break his leg actually even if he did fall out of a really tall tree he just wouldnt do that because he isnt stupid or irresponsible enough to do that. responsible people know how not to break their legs when falling from high places.

The fact that some of you have that little faith in Eddie is........ He's gauging the options. Pushing Buck like during the tsunami did not work. He's currently seeing if giving him space like he did after the lightning will. He's watching, he's showing up, he's noticing. Letting Buck know he's there is part of the process. He can't really be kicking and screaming "no, you're not fine" when the last time he tried to go there, Buck didn't even let him inside the house. He doesn't know exactly how bad it is yet, but he's gonna get there, give him some time.

Like, breaking down the door has not worked with Buck for a while now. 817 was about Eddie trying to break down the door, granted, he was a bit mean about it, but he just wanted Buck to be honest with him, and for them to greive together, and then they were fighting, and he backed off because Buck wasn't going to meet him halfway. So he brought Chris to cheer him up, and tried to cope with his own grief. Chris did not work this time and they've been avoiding the elephant in the room since Eddie moved to Texas. Eddie is gonna have to find a different strategy, but he will get there.

And honestly, Buck doesn't need tough love to push him to keep going. Which was what he needed during the tsunami. Buck needs to feel safe again. Eddie pushing and pushing will just make Buck more defensive. He's trying to get Buck's guard down.
