it's like the first couple times Kat goes to the school because Pippa can't (for PTA or something else, like the kids in the principal office/nurse office(?)), walks in like she owns the place, looks for the kids and the teachers go 'who are you? where's ms. cox?'
how do you see that scenario going down??
I know for a fact at some point Kat will storm into Jordan’s class and be like “ma’am i am here to take Mr. Cox home, im with the police its okay”
Just because Jordan then becomes the coolest kid in the class
But then she would just introduce herself as Pippa’s partner, later fiancee
Once she becomes the wife it’s easier
I dont think she adopts the kids or becomes their “mom” in any way but legally she is the second point of contact should Pippa not be available
So she’s had to pick up Lia a couple of times when she got sick and would take the day off and take care of her and make her soup and watch cartoons with her
Maybe Kat has already quit SVU so now her job at a non profit or whatever gives her a little more flexibility
And definitely quit because she wanted to keep herself safe because now she had Pippa and the kids to think about
So much so that after some time of going to PTA meetings (both on her own and with Pippa) she gets invited to the mom group chat and gets her wine tumbler for soccer games too
And yes when Pippa is not there Kat takes her lil notepad and writes everything down so she can prepare an entire power point presentation to Pippa about the new rules and guidelines for the school year
Pippa jokes about having to wear a blazer because Kat definitely presents this info with the same seriousness as when she presents a case
And yes the best part is that they can both gossip about the PTA mom drama amongst themselves
