Its the time of year for gift giving, and Jensen's aunt Kelli and her partner Darla reached out to me to help with their Christmas present to Danneel this year.

So we are fundraising for LOUD Nola . They are a theatre group for young  queer people in New Orleans! Many of you know how much Danneel loves the city, plus The Winchesters films there!  It's also, unfortunately a time of increased discrimination and violence against queer people, so groups like this are more important than ever. 

If you can donate anything or spread the word it would be much appreciated. Every dollar will go to helping these young LGBTQ people put on great shows!  You can read more and donate at Go Fund Me here.

The time has come for us to offer everyone a chance to own their very own priceless souvenir of the show we all love so dearly. In doing so, we also want to honor the largest (hopefully!) legacy of our fandom: using our collective power for good.

This year we've helped raise almost $5k with SPN Family Giving for the J2M birthdays with proceeds going to Thinkery, Attitudes in Reverse, and Nova Ukraine.

Hi, my name is Sam Winchester.  

Before I was born, my mother made a deal that pledged me to a demon, which then had her killed, so my father raised my brother and me to kill the things that go bump in the night.  I’m pretty sure you know the rest - saving people; hunting things. The Family Business.  I saved a bunch of people, went to College, fell in love, went back to hunting with my awesome big brother, watched him die and come back to life a few dozen times, fucked a demon, started the Apocalypse, stopped the Apocalypse, lost my soul, hit a dog, fell in love, got possessed by both angels and demons and saved the world again and again and yeah again. Along with my brother and this angel friend, we’re a Convention circuit, a lotta t-shirts, some board games, a series of books, lots of really hot fanfiction and a not bad series of Pop Vinyls. But after everything – I still love being Sam Winchester. Who wouldn’t? So no matter how many hits I take, I always find a way to come back. Because the only thing standing between this world and oblivion is me.

There’s only one Sam Winchester. And you’re looking at him.

I remember this because they filmed the episode either side of the VanCon weekend and Jensen was sick and Jared had hurt his back. So they were both pretty amazing!
