Who would you want to play Doctor Doom if he were to be in the MCU? I don’t have a specific actor in mind but it’d be cool if he was played by someone who was actually Eastern European (I personally headcanon Doom as Polish but that’s just me).

As long as it’s an actor who can play the part well and is of Romani descent or Romani themselves, then I would be happy! Charlie Clapham is one of my personal options (looks-wise/half-Romani), though I haven’t seen too much of his acting. So I’d have to see more for him to be my official fancast. Jesus Castro might be an option. Again, I’d need to see more content. Since Marvel most likely won’t care as they’ve already white-washed several Romani characters, I think your idea of him being Eastern European would be a safer bet, and would provide a wider range of well-known actors tbh. Polish Doom would be cool as well! Considering the location of Latveria. Serbian, Croatian, Hungarian, or Romanian actors could possibly be a sub-in as well.

We definitely need someone who can balance both his sophistication and just how unhinged that man can be sometimes. But lemme just say I’m tired of seeing white Victors in the media. That’s my preference. 😊
