To usher in the new year, Wyoming State Parks and Historic Sites host a New Year’s Day First Day Hike. For us this is becoming our New Year tradition. It can be a bit cold but it wakes you up. It is held at the Buffalo Bill State Park – four-mile hike , meeting at Hayden Arch Bridge, hiking along the river to the dam. This is a hike we do often.

Anyone gets the impression the avatar world is very small? It gives me the impression it's around the size of Mars.

I've been studying the map a lot and either it's a rather small planet or there is a massive ocean on the other side of the planet. Even then, we can see the distance between the poles, so I think what we see is what we get. I'm surprised the Fire Nation didn't also sail around to attack the Earth Kingdom on the other side too.
