a book should be $5 a little drink should be $2 and museum access should be free and all hours
"why do you ship zutara" idk i felt like it
getting home is so epic it's like lol i'm home
i think abt anne rice’s answer to “what are your work habits for a novel?” probably every single day
He eat a nemon
Whenever people are like “you just have to struggle through the first season of Buffy, you gotta get through the first season of Buffy, I promise it gets better, just wait until the hot blonde vampire shows up” im always like 1) skill issue 2) skill issue 3) skill issue 4) skill issue 5) the show gets good when Buffy shows up, hope that helps
I'm watching Buffy for the first time, and my favorite part is the way she leaps at antagonists and sails across the screen like an armed, cheetah-printed flying squirrel. You go, Buffy.
a sketch of kataraaa from the new movie 🫰 also pretend the water is realistic…
getting into atla for the first time this little bald baby makes me so emo
two lovers, forbidden from one another,
a war divides their people... ⛰️
"People like Zutara cause it's dark and intriguing," and then the popular Zutara fanon tropes are like;
- Zuko helps Katara with the camp chores without being asked
unfortunately I think the divide within the og atla creative team regarding zutara during the show's development led to the funniest possible outcome .
cause on one hand, since zuko and katara's relationship never explicitly turns romantic, I think it spared their dynamic from the weird pitfalls that the writing suffered from when it came to the canon romances. and what we do get from the canon zk dynamic is a really compelling and cohesive narrative arc: enemies -> resentful co-captives -> empathizing co-captives -> ...mayyyybeee allies? -> ENEMIES 2.0 -> "Mr. Sorry For Betraying You" & "Ms. No Worries I'll Just Kill You Next Time :)" -> Southern Raiders "I fear only one person has ever understood me and I hate the guy" + "the guy" accomplices -> brief spy interlude -> Friends <3 -> synergetic teammates -> Co-Usurpers -> literally laid his life down for her
...but on the other hand, because the creative team was so divided during this time, it wasn't enough to just let things lie or whatever, so somewhere in between the "friends / synergetic teammates" bit and "co-usurpers" bit of their relationship development, the show takes not one, but two distinct moments to turn to the viewers and say "zutara shippers you are dumb and stupid and delusional btw" cause the creators had a complex over the fact that young girls in 2007 preferred zutara. And then right after that zuko goes and throws himself in front of lightning for katara. lol. lmao, even.
when i look up a knitting term, the last thing I want is an ai overview. I want a 60+ year old woman with no understanding of lighting or helpful camera angles who still manages to give the most concise and clear explanation of how to execute purl 2tog through the backloop. ai summary fuck off, where is phyllis?
