I am hosting auditions for The Slice-of-Life, Pro-Gay, On-going Comic dub, Tripping Over You by Suzana Harcum and Owen White. I’ve gotten permission from these lovely artists to do so for my Film and Video Portfolio. So I want it to be great!
I’m putting a lot of effort into this dub so I need people that are serious and will see it all the way through.
I’m looking for Voice Actors with these Requirements:
1. Fluent in English (If you have or can imitate a good British accent, That’s even better!)
2. I need more male voices than female, I need a few female voices, but this comic is about a Gay Couple, and in general there are more male roles in this comic.
3. You need to be 18+ years of age please! I’d prefer people that are older and trying to make a name for themselves as a voice actor.
4. Ability to make decent audio quality. It doesn’t have to be studio quality, but I don’t want it to be crappy either. (i.e. I don’t want people recording their voices on their phone, in a car, driving down a bumpy road, with the music blaring, and kids screaming in the background. Just as an example.)
5. Access to a computer, with email, and frequently can check on it. So then I as the director, editor, and producer can stay in contact with my actors.
This is going to be in a professional portfolio of mine, so if you are someone trying to become a voice actor as a profession, I want to help you make your name if you help me make mine :).
This is also all non-profit as my agreement with the writers and owners of the comic states so I will not be paying anyone, nor will any of us make any sort of money off of it.

For Auditions, send me a snapshot of the scene in the comic, and a mp3 format audio clip of your interpretation of the character’s voice. Also give your name, age, and the character your auditioning for. I will contact you ASAP for results of your audition. This will go on until I believe I have enough people to dub.
