Abby & Sam - from the novel I'm trying to write. Funny how I quit drawing months ago because I absolutely hate everything I make. I've pivoted to writing as my primary creative outlet, but then all of a sudden (thanks to a powerful bout of procrastination) I felt the pull to draw and I went with it.
Posting a years-old sketch in celebration of an update of the fanfic that completely rewired my brain.
One of the many sketches I did to to figure out this pose. This one got passed over for being too suggestive, but now I like it more than the one I chose.

MARCUS - an enterprizing would-be entrepreneur. LORRAINE - a frazzled bank teller single mom. IZZY - a kooky theater actress (& waitress). RICHARD - an awkward cartoonist. FATIMA - a posh cosmetologist. SID - a surly real estate agent.
¡Held Up! 🎶 (a comedy series) six strangers walk into a bank - then get caught in a stick-up. The ordeal bonds them, so that even after they're saved and return to their normal lives, they continue to draw back together.
Meant to spend the holiday/hurricane vacation working on demo pages, but this came out instead.
Walk of Shame by Lauren Layne. My first and favorite read of hers.
