All About Artist Collections
One of my favorite things to do when I’m putting together a story is learning about the creative process that occurs when producing a new product, or a new series. Today we’re going to slow our bots down a little bit, and learn about the “Artist Collections” that SwagRobot has been producing. Here comes John now.
Good morning John! How are you?
I’m great! I’m drinking my coffee as we’re gearing up for the day (there are never enough gear puns).
So let’s dig right in, okay? Can you tell me a little bit about the Artist Collections series that SwagRobot has been showing off? We’ve seen the most recent “Emoji Pins” and the “Elk & Quill” series.
At SwagRobot we get the opportunity to work with many amazingly talented artists. We wanted to give them an outlet to showcase each of their own unique styles of design. To accomplish this we came up with the idea of personalized storefronts presented by SwagRobot, thus Artist Collections were born.
That’s so cool! It’s great that you are always trying to come up with something that not only helps to support yourselves, but also others!
Our audience is already coming to SwagRobot to get some type of custom product. Whether it’s lapel pins, challenge coins, custom lanyards or keychains, they want to see their design on a physical item. So we decided why not give artists a way to offer their own designs, manufactured, inventoried and shipped by SwagRobot? Our customers can get custom promotional products made any way they like, or browse our growing sets of items ready to ship from our Artist Collections.
So what can we expect in the future for the Artist Collections?
With the success of Emoji Pins and Elk & Quill we’re growing pretty fast, and we want to keep our foot on the pedal. We’ve got some pretty interesting collections in the pipeline that we’re excited about. Some collections are coming from our in-house artists that are already putting their magic on custom products for our current clients. In addition, we’ve been getting inquiries from people outside the SwagRobot team that want to get on board. We’re super happy with the response we’ve gotten so far.
I can’t wait to see what’s ahead! How often can we expect a new collection, and WHEN will we be seeing the next one?
One I’m really excited about is going to be something we haven’t ever done before. It’s going to be a whole new product presented in a really surprising way. The idea is locked down and the designs are in development right now. We’ve hoping to launch this new collection by March, so stay tuned!
Now, to get down to the nitty, gritty, what does being a part of this Artist Collection cost?
Artist Collections are pretty reasonable. The investment by the artists comes back surprisingly quickly, and they turn a great profit. It’s all about marketing their collections. Since many items can be offered, and the collections can be 100% customized, right down to the packaging, the cost varies. Thanks so much for answering some of my questions about this. I think that I can speak on behalf of the readers when I say, we’re SO excited for what the SwagRobot future holds!
