Gaius wasnât a deep sleeper, he had made sure of that. But normally when he would wake up in the middle of the night, he would know why. This time he didnât and it confused him greatly. Just like why there was something warm at his side and over his stomach. With his mind not wanting to progress what was going on,he tried to roll onto his side. Note: he tried.For then he understood what was wrong. That warm thing at his side was a body. And that warm thing on his stomach was an arm of said body.'It is nice, being so warm and snuggling with someone in a bed, BUT NO WHEN YOU-!' Gaius thought, slowly staring to panic only for his train of thoughts to stop abruptly. Then he knew and saw who it was with him in bed. 'Auburn hair, pale face, slight bags under the eyes, the smell of alcohol, the sweater.Yes, this is Nova, my neighbour and drinking buddy.'
Gaius took a deep breathe and-
"Ugh, Nova! Wake up, wake up! God, you smell!NOVA!"
She huffed and dived under, giving the blanket an angry tug. Determined to stay as far away from Gaius as possible. It didnât take long however before she slowly started to creep over to his side of the bed. Untill she snuggled into his side.
He turned onto his side and pulled her against him tighter. "See? Much warmer with clothes on" he whispered, beginning to pet her hair. Kissing her on top of her head with a whispered "Sweet dreams,Nova" he closed his eyes.

"Fine" she muttered, amongst other obscenities but pulled on the shirt, it being big enough to cover her entirely she didnât bother with the pants. She stood up and raised her arms "Happy now ?"
Gaius gave her a look, but with nodded with a sigh. "Very happy" and with that he let himself drop to onto the bed, pulling a part of the blanket around himself while holding the other part up for Nova to crawl under.
