So I was going through my Spotify while playing a creepypasta dating sim (it was lowk good asl btdoubleu), I listened to Makeshift Chemistry by Crown the Empire bc I hadn't listened to them in a while n when I saw them live, they were great
My goodness im getting so off topic, but that song specfically the chorus from 0:26 to 0:56, seems like it would make a bomb ass tobyxreader fanfic. In my head, they're exes (and yes, 2016 slendermansion its lowk my fav settings + imagine living in an already high tension place with your ex that clearly don't gaf if you disappeared) idk how they broke up, but Toby would initiate it probably in a hurtful way or whatever (idk for me my personality hc is that he'd be the type to self sabotage i deadass cant type w my arm brace on so im gonna take it off. Anyways yes, I think toby would be the type to self-sabotage, which would lead to the relationship ultimately ending. Maybe like 2/3 months after it he thinks he doesn't care fr bc in his head he doesn't even need close relationships in that nature, so it's not even his loss. After like month 4 or 5, he does acknowledge he lowk fucked up, he's not going to outwardly admit it, but he does want them back. By this point, y/n doesn't even want to talk to him or give him any time of day (listen to the song......) I feel like atp he wouldn't be above stalking, then that would end up being like the main part of the story.
TL;DR Toby breaks up with y/n in a nasty way for whatever internal reason, realizes it was actually a pretty stupid thing to do, but it's too late, y/n don't fw him no more, so he just stalks them n shit until either they slow burn themselves back together or something else happens, and all this only happens bc sweet3i liked a song
