Among the trees, she were seating with a needle and the finest embroidery threads from all Mirkwood in her hands, gold and green leaves were being woven onto one of her husband tunics, Thranduil had said that his new, freshly made tunic seemed incomplete when he put it on before her.
The tunic, in a dark shade of green with gold details, seemed "plain" to his eyes, as almost all his other clothes would have been tailored by his beloved wife.
"It seems... boring, there's nothing here that is..." The word "boring" rolled onto his tongue, his eyes filled with dissatisfaction as he looked at himself in the mirror.
"Mine?" she lifted her body from the bed shared by the couple, going to him and letting her hands slide down the tunic that was on his body. "I can arrange something for you!".
He gently held her hand, preventing her from going any lower. "Careful, Meleth nín, you know exactly how you got to this beautiful state." He brought her hand to his own lips as he gazed at her " Oh".
She shook her head slightly with a smile on her lips, drifting out of the memory, losing focus on what was in her hands, the needle made a small prick in her finger, causing her to let out a small cry of surprise.
The hurried footsteps were unmistakable, the not too soft taps on the ground certainly belonged to someone in a hurry.
He scanned her with his eyes, one of her hands was resting on her belly, and the other was raised in the air, showing him her index finger.
"Isn't that a magnificent shade of red?" A small pearl of blood formed on his finger. "An embroidery thread of that color would look great with black fabric!" The tension in his shoulders, though almost imperceptible, gradually fadded.
"You're a madwoman, I should have known that from the start!" Thranduil took her hand carefully, examining it. "But... it's a beautiful red indeed!" the heavy sassy tone carried in his voice.
"And not satisfied with just the Madwoman, you had a child with her, and now after almost 3,000 years, you wanted to have another!" She said, his eyes drifted down to where her other hand rested, and a sigh of disbelief escaped his lips, he would never win that argument with his loving wife.

She lazily stretched out her hand to her husband, who was standing beside her, while waiting for the tomato that never arrived, she raised her gaze to her beloved.
"shall i ? Meleth nín..." Legolas had that defiant smile of someone she knew was plotting something.
The moment her hands tried to touch the tomato, Legolas took a step back, pulling the tomato with him.
"Legolas, my love, give me the tomato." She held out her hand again, and this time he stepped aside.
Legolas ran his hands along her waist, pulling her close, his fingers tangling in what remained of her corset's lace, his breath close to her face.
He leaned in, pressing his lips to hers, her arms rising across his chest to embrace his neck, pulling him closer, his arms now locked around her waist as his long blond hair fell over her shoulders, forming a curtain.
"Forget the tomato." Legolas mumbled on her lips, trying to deepen the kiss.
"No, Legolas, no." She pushed his chest, laughing. "I'm sorry, my love, I'm afraid I can't continue kissing you now, I need to finish our dinner." She turned her back to her husband, picking up the much-desired tomato and a knife to cut it.
"How could something so simple catch my wife's attention?" he hugged her from behind, looking over her shoulder at what she was doing.
"Oh please, I'm cooking something delicious to please my beloved husband, not to ignore him." she sliced thin pieces of the tomato, she decored his plate using two pieces of the tomato to make hearts.
"You don't have to do all this for me, but I appreciate your effort, Meleth nín." Legolas leaned close to her ear.
She caressed his face with her hands, placing a deep, affectionate kiss on his lips, "I would do everything for my beloved husband. Shall we eat now?".
Before he could lean in for another kiss, she grabbed the two plates from the counter and hurried toward the dining room.
The clinking of the carefully crafted glass plates being placed on the carved wooden table alerted him to how quickly she was setting the table for dinner.
Then Legolas joined her, he took a bottle of elven wine and two wine goblets, placing them neatly beside the plates on the table, he pulled out a chair for her, guiding her to sit down before pulling out his own chair, sitting down next to his beloved.
"First bite, open your mouth!" She took his fork, picking up one of the sets of two pieces of tomato that formed a heart, and bringing it to his mouth.
"So, how is it?" She put his fork back on the plate.
"Delicious, like everything you make, but my heart is longing for the red fruit tart."
" YOU SAW THE TART? It was a surprise for you, Legolas!" she huffed, putting a hand on top of his "Wait, were you spying on me? Legolas!!".
"I know, I know, but I wanted to see my wife, and she was practically locked in the kitchen!!" Legolas ran his hand down her back, intertwining his fingers in the delicate lace of her corset.
"Eat first, then you can have the pie and your wife all to yourself." She ran her hands through his blond hair, leaning in to give him a quick, soft kiss on the lips.
"It's difficult when I have such a divine figure before me, Meleth nín." The fork reached her mouth, silencing him.
"Stop using your elven charms on me, my love." The smile on her face was all he needed to see, simple, yet loving.
So Legolas smiled, a warm smile that showed he was already entwined in her fingers, just like the way loved to intertwine his fingers in her corset lace.
Hi, this blog has been gathering a lot of dust in the last few months. I'm thinking of getting back to writing, but about other movies/series/games, without using the "new year, new life" cliché, but it's more or less that.

A/N : I listened to "Rises the Moon" by Liana Flores a lot while writing this one shot.
Your day started with a sharp pain in your joints, your face turning into a grimace of pain before you could even open your eyes, but you felt the mattress move beside you and when your eyes opened, there was Mystery's face hovering over yours.
Before you could get up he had already gotten up and left the room, not to leave you alone, but to get something to help you.
Your body wasn't responding to the strength you were trying to exert, it seemed like all that vigor from the previous day had disappeared, so with great difficulty you managed to sit up in bed, supporting your body on the headboard.
