Kageyama's favorite anime is Cowboy Bebop

Kageyama doesn't play a lot of video games because he'd much rather play volleyball, but when it rains he entertains himself with Tetris and Puyo Puyo

Kageyama was bullied a lot in middle school because Kindaichi had spread a rumor that Kageyama was the reason that their friend, Emi, had moved schools

She had moved to Tokyo to get better treatment for an illness she had and she was close with Kageyama

Many thought that because of Kageyama's scary appearance, he was a bully and decided to try and "give him his own medicine"

Kageyama likes to do gymnastics and can do a backflip

He also has an older sister named Kageyama Mae who's a freshman in college

She was the captain of her female volleyball team at Shiratorizawa and brought them to Nationals

Kageyama didn't actually grow up in Miyagi, he grew up in southern Japan near the ocean so he swam quite a bit

When he heard that Hinata was talking about the fish Tobiou he was really confused because why would Hinata be talking about a fish

If you can't tell, he really likes being in the water

Kageyama chose volleyball because the game ran in the family and also he has natural hand-eye coordination

His top three dream jobs go in the order of Professional Athlete, Athletic Coach, Marine Biologist

Kageyama is also weirdly good at science, mainly Biology and Chemistry

Kageyama's favorite animal is a Sphinx cat and he wants one very badly

If he had a Sphinx cat, he would name her (has to be a girl) Taffy because she looks like wadded taffy

Nishinoya Headcanon

In a recent chapter of Haikyuu where Karasuno was playing against Inarizaki, Noya said how he's scared of moths

Which I agree moths are terrifying

What if at one point during practice a moth gets into the gym and flys at Noya's face when he's diving for a ball

He then has a panic attack because of it and it takes him a while to calm down because he's absolutely terrified of them

It doesn't help that Tsukishima catches it and tries to put it in Noya's face because being the Salty McAss Tsukki takes this advantage of scaring his senpai

Yamaguchi yells at him afterward

Asahi then sits by him the entire time and starts talking about how Noya's receives seem to be getting better and better

Asahi knows that when he talks it's the best way to help Noya calm down because Asahi's voice is calming in itself

Noya eventually calms down but he's still pretty shaken up by it

After practice Asahi walks him home and stays the night snuggling Noya close and making sure to fight off any moths that come his way

Noya is calm and feels safe in Asahi's arms because there is no need to worry about moths anymore

Haikyuu Quest HC

Ok so I'm not one to say much, but the Haikyuu Quest AU seems to have some debate on what is what, so here's my view on the characters of it.

Humans:

Daichi is the blacksmith. He makes most of the weapons for the protagonist.

Ennoshita is a shopkeeper that sells basic items

Narita and Kinoshita run a local pub where you can get any drink you'd like

Hinata is a warrior and our protagonist

Kageyama is an archer and is the secondary protagonist

Natsu is Hinata's little sister who always find shiny things around the village and nearby village forest. She's like a detector.

Yachi is a flower shop owner

Iwazumi is a knight that worked for Oikawa but now is fighting against him

Kyoutani is a warrior who protects Yahaba

Inouka is a shopkeeper in Nekoma town

Yamamoto is a warrior that protects Nekoma town

Bokuto is a knight who works for the Fukurodani kingdom to the east

Makki and Mattsun are knights who work for Oikawa

Watari is a kinght who works for Oikawa

Aone is a warrior who is a tank in battle. He accompanies you along your adventure.

Futakuchi is Aone's childhood friend who works at a food stand

Ukai is the leader of your village town

Ukai Jr. is the tutorial, he shows you how to work your attacks

Takeda is a teacher who gives you advice for your journey

Daishou is the leader of a group of bandits, watch out for him

Suzumeda and Shirofuku are waitresses at Kinoshita and Narita's pub

Ushijima is the ruler of the Shiratorizawa kingdom and is the strongest in his kingdom.

Michimiya is a young rich girl from whom had been taken from her father by the Aoba Jousai Kingdom

Mages:

Sugawara is a mage that was injured in battle, he usually hangs around Daichi and enchants your weapons

Asahi is a potions maker who makes healing items. He also knows inside information about the demons since some small demon keeps coming around to talk.

Kenma is a mage that betrayed the demon kingdom and now works with the main protagonist to give advice. He doesn't like to fight though so don't count on him too much.

Yamaguchi is an apprentice mage who is trying to learn the best he can. He is smart so you should listen to what he says.

Akaashi is a mage from the Fukurodani kingdom who accompanies Bokuto

Tendou is a mage from the Shiratorizawa kingdom. Why oh why did anyone let him have magic

Semi is a mage from the Shiratorizawa kingdom who is Ushijima's advisor

Yahaba is a mage who protects the fountain of future (a pool where the people who drink it's water will see the future)

Demons:

Oikawa is the ruler of the Aoba Jousai kingdom and is a bit of a brat. He is also the strongest demon and the final boss

Kuroo is Oikawa's second in command when it comes to anything realted to choice making

Yaku is in charge of troops and training them

Lev is Yaku's assistant who always seems to mess something up

Kiyoko is the mistress who's in charge of toture and prisoners

Tanaka and Nishinoya are her helpers, although sometimes Noya seems more reluctant than Tanaka.

Tsukishima is in charge of strategies, he makes sure things don't get messed up, but the troops aren't as strong as he plans them to be

Terushima is a warrior who always seems to cause trouble around the castle

Misaki makes sure she keeps him in order

Saeko is Tanaka's older sister who likes to mess around with both humans and demons. She's a neutral party.

Akiteru is Tsukishima's older brother who follows Saeko with her antics. He's a neutral party.

Kindaichi is a warrior who just wants Oikawa to notice him

Kunimi makes sure Kindaichi doesn't make an ass of himself. He could care less who wins. He's a neutral party.

Kenma Headcanons

Here’s a list of Headcanons

The longest amount of time Kenma has spent awake is 48 hours before he crashed.

Although Kenma played volleyball with Kuroo when he was little it wasn’t his original sport, he used to swim.

Kenma dyed his hair blonde because of a game character.

Kenma likes to cosplay and he usually cosplays characters from his favorite games.

His main cosplays are Link from Legend of Zelda and Red from Pokemon

He names his Pokemon after his friends.

Kuroo is Litten, Akaashi is Espeon, Bokuto is Rowlet, Yaku is Meinfoo, Hinata is Solrock, and Lev is Alolan Exeggutor.

Kuroo has told Kenma that it was okay to call him Tetsuro, but Kenma doesn’t just to piss him off.

Kenma does call Kuroo, Tetsu when they’re alone.

Kenma’s log time for Final Fantasy is over 100 hours

His log time on Pokemon is 200 hours

When Kenma met Hinata’s sister, he ended up with his hair being braided and a flower crown which he still has on his shelf.

Kenma and Akaashi frequently talk and complain about their captains.

When Yaku was sick one day during practice and Lev was shoved onto Kenma, Kenma knocked his knees for the first time because Lev had stolen his PSP.

No one is allowed to steal Kenma’s PSP except Kuroo because he’s the only one Kenma won’t promptly murder.

Kenma is actually an amazing artist and draws designs for games all the time

Kenma wants to go to college for game design

Kuroo supports Kenma through everything he does

Yamaguchi Headcanon

What is Yamaguchi had an older brother? Like a brother that was absolutely perfect. The perfect guy in literally every way. In school, he always had perfect grades, he could always create the perfect chemical reaction, he was always on the teacher's good side, he was extremely popular, lead in the play, wrote music in his past time, and was even the star of the music club. We all know that kid, and Yamaguchi's brother (let's call him Souma because that's the place holder name I'm using) was that kid. Souma had everything going for him and he's about to get out of college and star his career to stardom and become the leading man in j-rock and j-pop. And Yamaguchi hates it. His parents have always praised Souma over him and he constantly gets compared to him. It's another reason why Yams chose volleyball, because it was the one thing that Souma left untouched. All he wants is to be noticed for his own talent and not to be compared to Souma over and over again about looks, grades, club activities, and especially musical talent (which some could argue that Yams was just as good if not better than Souma).

Nishinoya Headcanons

Here's a list of Headcanons for Nishinoya.

Noya has a singing voice that could be on Broadway, but he hates singing in public. He gets super embarrassed about his voice.

Up til 5th grade, Noya took dance lessons.

Noya has an anxiety disorder, but it affects him more long term than short term. He also hides it very well.

Noya can play the piano but he stopped taking lessons because of volleyball, but he still remembers how to play Fur Elise.

Noya can and will breakdance if you ask him too. Lev challenged him for some reason at training camp and Noya demolished him.

Noya is actually really good at science and not that bad at math. Though he sucks at history and literature.

Noya wants to go to college to study engineering.

Noya can only stand people for so long. Sundays are his break days and you will almost never hear from him on those days.

Noya's mom was a libero in high school and taught Noya all these little tricks.

Noya is an only child and had always wanted a sibling, which is why he's grateful for Tanaka and Saeko.

Noya likes horror but hates jumpscares and haunted houses.

Noya gets really nervous when talking to a crush because he can't say what he wants in front of them.

Noya knows sign language because his younger cousin is deaf.

Don't pick Noya up unless he wants to be picked up. Pick him up and he will claw your eyes out.

Noya has a pair of reading glasses. When he looks at his phone, he has to hold it at least a foot away from him to see the screen.

Noya loves to build things. He helps Ennoshita with set building for his movies.

Noya also knows how to sew for the same reasons.

Noya will run just for the hell of it

Noya is actually pretty responsible at home because his mom works late so he doesn't get to see her.

Noya actually doesn't live near Karasuno so he has to take a bullet train to the school and ride his skateboard there.

Oh yeah, Noya can skateboard.

Noya also didn't know anyone that was going to Karasuno from his old school.

Noya also insists on people calling him Yuu but no one ever does because it feels weird to them.

Noya slammed the back of Tsukishima's knees to make him fall over because he said something that pissed Noya off. (Yaku taught him the trick)

Noya was originally dye the blond streak blue but he liked the blonde so he kept it.

Actor AU part 2

Everyone really liked the first actor au so here's a part 2

Pranks are a huge thing around set

Bokuto and Kuroo are usually the ones to start them

It ends with Hinata smacking them both and sleeping

Hinata gives zero fucks about anything and everyone can't understand how he got cast for the role

Yamaguchi and Hinata have become best friends and they literally hate everything and everyone all the fucking time

Kageyama will pick up Hinata and carry him with Hinata cussing out every possible cuss word in existence

Everyone finds this hilarious

Nishinoya is the youngest volleyball player actor at 16

Asahi is second youngest at 18

The age rage of the volleyball players goes from 16-28

The oldest is a tie between Matsun and Makki

Oikawa doubles as a makeup artist and helps with makeup

Hinata both likes and hates the Kagehina ship because he personally only sees the characters as friends, but understands why people would ship it

On the other hand, Kageyama LOVES the Kagehina ship and teases the fans about it all the time

Hinata and Kageyama are somehow friends off set and no one understands why

AU if the characters in the show were actors (NOT COUNTING STAGE PLAY)

Their names are the same in and out of character

They all have their otps and the biggest otp which is actually real is Iwaoi

Daichi and Suga and parents in and out of production

Surprisingly, it's Yamaguchi that's the one that swears the most

It's Kageyama that swears the least

Tsukishima is still sarcastic as hell but laughs and smiles a lot more out of character

Bokuto likes to pick up Hinata and bring him to Akaashi and say "He is our son"

Hinata looks like he wants to die 24/7 because he gets so tired from screaming and being excited

Kuroo and Bokuto are nearly the exact same people as they are in the show, just a bit more toned down

Lev is a fucking giant and smacks into all the production lights (he's broken a total of 7 so far)

Nishinoya and Asahi have gigantic crushes on each other and everyone ships it

Tanaka on the show is super fucking straight, but he's really fucking gay outside of it

No he is not dating Ennoshita as much as we want him to

Kenma didn't really like games before getting cast, but they gave him a psp and a bunch of games to play when they recorded. He is now a growing game addict.

Oikawa is just as fabulous on set and off set

Iwazumi is literally the same person as his character

Oikawa and Iwazumi are the exact same person and are super gay for each other

Kinoshita, Narita, Makki, and Mattsun are all friends that just sit and watch the drama unfold and enjoy every second of it

Yes, they all trained in volleyball and the plays aren't actually scripted.

The script is worked into the scene

Everyone is really well educated on volleyball

Yachi and Kiyoko talk shit about everyone all the fucking time

Oikawa will join in from time to time

Kageyama is the exact opposite of his character, in school he was the class jokester and made really good grades.

Nearly everyone had experience with volleyball.

Exceptions being Suga (who danced), Kageyama (swam), Tsukishima (danced), Kinoshita (baseball), Narita (Soccer), and Kenma (danced)

Yamaguchi and Tsukishima were good friend when they were younger

Kuroo and Tsukishima are dating

So are Bokuto and Akaashi

Takeda and Ukai are actually dating in real life as well

Kageyama has a goal to make everyone laugh at least once with his smartassery

Hinata has laid on the floor with Yamaguchi to question life on multiple occasions

Everyone constantly wants to die

2nd Year Headcanon

Ennoshita and all the second years make movies together

Everyone has a set role

Ennoshita is Director and Script Writer, Narita is Assistant Director and Editor, Kinoshita is in charge of Special Effects, Nishinoya creates props and costumes, and Tanaka does makeup

They use their friends along with the volleyball club for their movies

They had to make a horror type movie so they based them off Tokyo Ghoul

Daichi was the head of investigation with Tsukishima as his assistant

Asahi, Kageyama, and Yamaguchi were ghouls investigators

Hinata, Kiyoko, and Yachi were ghouls along with Suga who played the lead.

Tanaka made the ghouls look incredible with contacts and veins and paler skin.

Nishinoya created kagune for them as well and ripped shirts and pants

Kinoshita add crazy fighting effects which were amazing

Ennoshita and Narita nailed it with the script and directing

It was entered into a contest and claimed second place.

Tsukishima Headcanon

Tsukki has this thing that runs in his family. Akiteru has it, so does his dad, and his grandmother, and his great-grandfather, and so on. It's passed down from generation to generation.

Tsukki sneezes like a kitten, but when he gets a cold or is sick and someone says that word squeak.

He sneezes and makes a squeaking sound.

It sounds like someone just squeezed a dog toy and it's the most adorable thing and Tsukki HATES it.

Yamaguchi found this out by complete accident when Tsukki had a cold and Yamaguchi brought over some stuff to make him feel better

Yams said "This toy squeaks!" And Tsukki sneezed. Yamaguchi thought it was the funniest thing in the entire world, but promised not to tell anyone (but not before saying it again just to hear it while Tsukki punched his arm).

When Tsukki denies he's sick, Akiteru says squeak to see if he's sick or not, it always results in a death glare and Tsukki being wrapped in a million blankets.

Kuroo found out about it when Akiteru said it to check if Tsukki was sick (which he was) and Kuroo finds it to be the cutest thing in the entire world. (He always showers him in kisses when he does even when Tsukki complains that Kuroo-san is going to get sick)

DO NOT SAY SQUEAK IN RAPID SUCCESSION WHEN TSUKKI IS SICK UNLESS YOU ACTUALLY WANT HIM TO DIE!

Tsukki will choke on his own saliva and start to cough and coughing will start to mix with sneezing which causes major acid reflux.

Kuroo is always there for his precious boyfriend and finds him the cutest thing in the world.

Yamaguchi abuses his squeak privileges way too much.

Haikyuu HC

Nishinoya has anxiety, but not in the way you might think. He’s fine with standing in front of people and doing presentations, he can just drown out mostly anything with his obnoxiously loud voice. No, Nishinoya has anxiety in different ways. He’ll push off his work because he thinks everything he does isn’t good enough. He’ll then become even more anxious because his work isn’t done. He’ll shove himself into volleyball, even if he’s sick, because if he misses volleyball, he’ll fall behind, and if he falls behind, he’ll have to work even harder to catch up or have a panic attack from all the stress.

When he had a fight with Asahi and he was sent to the principal’s office and heard he was suspended from club activities, as soon as he left the office he had the worst panic attack in his entire life. Uncontrollable sobbing, not being able to breathe, and throwing up in the midst of all of it. It took him a while to build up the courage to go talk to Asahi again, and when he finally did, he didn’t regret it. As much as Nishinoya fights with anxiety, he still will try to look at the brighter side of things in the midst of it.

Haikyuu HC

So yeah, Bokuto is really strong and can easily pick up Akaashi. It also doesn't help that Akaashi is as light as a feather. To his team mates, it's concerning. He looks like a person that is of normal weight, but anyone could really pick him up. People assume it's because Akaashi must not eat much which is a complete lie. Akaashi eats as much as Bokuto when he's hungry, he's just naturally light, and Akaashi hates it. When he was a first year, Bokuto could pick him up easily when he needed to get something from a high shelf. It got to a point where Bokuto could just grab Akaashi with one arm and throw him over his shoulder, which became really embarrassing. It got even worse when Konoha or Washio or Sarukui or even Kuroo would grab him. It was the worst when Kumi ran and grabbed him. But the worst experience came at the training camp with Karasuno. It was the last day and the first years were talking to Kumi as Kumi was talking about how Akaashi was as light as a feather. Of course, Lev gets the great idea to run up and pick up Akaashi while he's eating, not only causing him to choke on his food, but freeze in place at the same time. Lev then made a comment about his weight saying that he was even lighter than Kenma and that he should probably eat more. At that point the entire Fukurodani team is trying not to crack up. When Lev but Akaashi down, Yaku drop kicked him and profusely apologized to Akaashi. Akaashi was low-key pissed and was about to say something to Lev but Bokuto had come and thrown Akaashi over his shoulder and bolted with a cursing Akaashi over his shoulder.

Haikyuu HC

Okay I saw someone’s fanart with Asahi holding a rubix cube and I loved this idea.

One day, Hianta brings a rubix cube in to practice because he was seeing if anyone could figure it out. Many tried, none succeeded. Then, Asahi walks up and takes the cube. Everyone was looking at Hinata because he and Kageyama had started to argue. Then Nishinoya turns around to see how Asahi is doing and, bam, solved rubix cube. Everyone was either freaking out or super confused so Noya mixes it up again and gives it back to Asahi. They all then watched Asahi flip the rubix cube at an incredible speed. 5 seconds later, rubix cube solved. This is when the team learns that in elementary and junior high, Asahi was in the rubix cube club and had completed at several competitions, placing third overall. He stopped because volleyball got in the way, but he has rubix cubes around his house to help with anxiety.

Okay, so I see a lot of Flexible!Suga stuff, but can we have Flexible!Nishinoya? Why? Because there are so many headcanons where Nishinoya can breakdance which I fully agree with, but what if not only that, he did ballet. Like when he was little, he did ballet for a few years and that's where he learned how to breakdance from. Then in middle school he dropped it and started to play volleyball, but he never forgot about dancing and he just does it in his spare time. Imagine at a training camp Yaku hadn't seen Noya stretch and told him that he was going to help him and just, Noya is flat on the ground, he is extremely flexible. I also want to see Noya, the giant volleyball dork who tries to look super manly and cool and tries to impress the ladies in everyway. Break out in the female lead of Swan Lake because he thought the female part was better (also he was too small and couldn't lift any of the girls).

Lev can speak Russian.

Lev firmly denies he can speak Russian, but he can. In fact, he lived in Russia for three years when he was younger, and at his house they speak primarily Russian. No one knows that he can speak Russian until a training camp. Lev had spiked a ball, his best spike yet in a heated game. Third set, 24-23 Nekoma. Nishinoya jumps for the ball, but overshoots. The ball slams into his face as Noya slams into the floor. Noya gets up with a bloody nose, and it was likely his nose was broken. They had to stop the game to have Noya go get checked out. During that period, Lev was freaking out. Everyone was trying to calm him down, but Lev was having a full out panic attack. Yaku was trying to snap him out of it when suddenly… Bam Russian. Lev’s mouth was running a million miles an hour in Russian. No one knew exactly what to do as they watched this Half Japanese Half Russian volleyball player speak a foreign language. Yaku managed to finally calm him down as they learned that thankfully Nishinoya did not have a broken nose or concussion, but would have to sit out for the rest of that training day. Now people are wondering what exactly Lev said in Russian why the hell he didn’t say something sooner.

Tsukishima Kei is Supportive AF

Okay but do you ever realize that Tsukishima is lowkey supportive of his teammates?? Like, do you see this: 

It seems like Tsukki’s just being his usual problematic self (which he kinda is lmao), but by pissing Kageyama off like that, he managed to make Kageyama forget about the mistake. Tsukishima knows how simple minded Kageyama can be, and he takes advantage of that to make Kags feel better.

Spread the message: Tsukishima seems like a terrible person, but he’s still supportive of his teammates when needed. Literally, only when needed.

For the weirdest reason, kids are obsessed with Tsukishima. They just really like him. It confuses the hell out of people who know him because they know Tsukishima as the Saltiest Sass Mccrass to Ever Sass. What confuses people even more is Tsukishima’s patience with kids. Seriously, Tsukki has the patience of a saint when it comes to kids. He also listens to everything kids say and can give feedback no matter how childish it is.

It was especially funny to watch Natsu blabber on and on to Tsukki about her dolls and stickers as Tsukishima just watched and listened. When Hinata asked if he was even paying attention to her, Tsukki relayed all of what she had said. No one knows where this hidden talent came from, but some theorize Yamaguchi had something to do with it.
