‘Whenever the batfam is put together in a scene it’s so boring’ NO, i personally loved seeing dick, tim, babs, jpv, bruce and cass who joined later on (they were basically the members of the batfam during this time) interact, their dynamic was funny, interesting and warm (well sometimes) and i felt like i need more of them tgt.

one of my favourite dick & tim dynamics is their respective things about jean-paul valley. because, between the two of them, tim is the one who actually knows and was hurt by him personally. he's been complaining about jpv to dick since before dick even met the guy. but whenever jpv comes up, tim is also the one side-eyeing dick's haterism. he's like, idk about all that, man. maybe we should take it down a notch. and a few deep breaths while we're at it

Of all the comics I've read, nothing will top jpv's suicide run to give a plague ridden city a cure, only to find out afterward that Batman literally faxed it to everyone offscreen.
